This is gonna be great

One of my friends is interested in weapons and munitions and things along those lines. He pointed something out to me about Avatar, so I decided to write this fic. It's only one vignette, and I probably won't expand it, so there's only one thread for now.

Tough there's a couple of things I noticed between writing it (a few weeks back) and now:
  • I think I've got Quaritch's speech in the wrong time/place. Oops, put it down to artistic license?  Tongue
  • One exchange that possibly should be translated isn't, and unfortunately I can't remember why that is. Oops again.  Cool

Anyway, it's attached to the bottom of this post. (Though: Minor language warning) If you're really curious about what my friend said to me, open the MAJOR SPOILER:

I believe the "Daisy cutters" in Avatar aren't the same bombs as used in the Vietnam war as they aren't even used now as they've been replaced. (by the MOAB)

So I think it's just a nickname (or a saying) as they mention them being mining explosives and I don't think FAE bombs are very good for mining.

Well, big boom is big boom, whether it's through rock, air, or squishy natives.  Undecided All the energy's got to go somewhere, after all.
