I started working on a Pandora bot (How convenient :P)

I chose to call it Neytiri.

You can talk to Neytiri here: http://www.pandorabots.com/pandora/talk?botid=feb3f0b30e34439a

I started "working on her" today, so she's not that smart yet.

But the more you talk to her, the more I can teach her.

Whatever you tell her, will be stored in a log, which I can then use to teach her more.

I'm still a beginning Na'vi talker, so if you find any grammatical (or spelling) mistakes, please tell me.

Thank you, and enjoy.

Very very very nice but she didn't understand anything I wrote.. Okay I didn't write much. :P

I'm looking forward to seeing her intelligence grow! Keep working on it!

damp

She doesn't know much yet.

But like I said, the more you talk, the more I can teach her.

Try saying Eywa ngahu now ;)

PS: kaltxi is NOT the same as kaltxì.

she asked me if I was good (ngaru lu fpom srak) and I replied srane (yes) which she didn't understand so I told her she was a moron which she didn't understand, you should have taught her insults first of all.

Also her response to ngaru lu fpom srak is a literal translation of an English idiom and therefore wrong, she says oe lu sìltsan. Srak marks it as a yes no question so the answer should either be srane (yes) or kehe (no), if she wants to clarify she could add oeru lu fpom (I have wellbeing) or oeru ke lu fpom (I don't have wellbeing).

Please make the response to nga skxawng lu (you are a moron) be pxasik! Oe skxawng ke lu, si muntxa nantanghu! (screw this! I'm not a moron, mate with a viperwolf!).

Done.

Edit: There's a bit of trouble publishing the bot right now, so it might take 5-30 minutes for the new changes to take effect.

Edit: The changes has now been published.

Try again. The site was just down.

Ftiafpi

there we go, very nice, I was pleasantly surprised how well she responded to basic sentences.

She doesn't have a response to "I see you" yet though, weird.

That said, this is awesome, lots of fun to use and I can't wait to see it grow.

Yes she does.

kewnya txamew'itan

she does but only if you have a laudative <ei> infix in there. What if you aren't happy to see her?  :P

Oh, maybe I spelled it wrong then or something since I had the ei infix in there.

kewnya txamew'itan

she might not like it if you use a different word order, she seems to get "oel ngati kameie" but not "ngati oel kameie" or "kameie oel ngati".

Thorinbur

This makes no sense. You simply cannot add all the sentences in all possible word orders. Such database would be HUGE. Maybe even bigger than Google's :P.

There are already many bots you can talk to on the web! It works.. more ore less x)

Ftiafpi

The only problem I see with Na'vi is the free word order and the affixes, this means that there are A LOT of possible sentences and a lot of words. However, as said before, it has been done and quite well and it could be done here too. At the very least it's a good exercise in basic sentences.

Payoang

My compliments on setting up a natural (-ish?) language processor! She doesn't understand too much though ... yet!

Thorinbur

This is not language processor. This is database matcher. Most of such bots works by matching single words. For example if you write. "Hi. You stink. " They would answer "Hi" ignoring rest.
From your replies i understand that you are matching whole phrases so Your bot would reply to Hi, but not to hi again, unless you add response to hi again.
