For a simple question like

Would the same grammatical rules apply?

Technically that question isn't "How are you" but a yes/no question (Hence the srak) of "You are well yes?

With -ru the more literal translation is something alone the lines of "Well being to you, yes?"

Possibly.  It's not quite as graceful a way to put it, but it would probably get the point across.  The "ngaru lu fpom srak?" question is direct from Frommer as a way to ask how someone is doing.

From the interviews I've read it seems like he's itching to keep this going, but he's gagged by the movie people.  As if we're not all going to grab as many tickets to Av2 as possible. :)

Yeah, because half of the things on this site are more of hypothesis-es(?) on how we expect it to happen.

Doolio

i don't get it why frommer isn't allowed to give us more (all?)...i mean, if i were the right holder i would thought of it as a fantastic marketing move...
