I hate to be a nuisance, but i believe you didn't write the quote right, ma Tsranten. If i remember correctly, it should be: Toruk Macto is mighty. He brought the clans together in a time of great sorrow. All Na'vi people know this story. Please, correct me if i'm wrong  .

Strange. I can swear that every time i watch that scene Neytiri says `` is mighty´´ rather than `` was mighty´´  .

About that: Isn't it spelled ``Macto´´ in the official script version, which is used as a spelling basis for Na'vi words in the movie ?

Srane, but as you said, a basis. The correct, Frommerian version is "Makto". Na'vi does not contain the letter "c". Kop, ma Teylar, lì'u alu "aynga" zene livu lì'u alu "menga".

Na'vi actually does contain the letter c, although it doesn't have the same meaning (it stands for ts, not k)
