Not to sound dumb or anything, but where is he app store? this is new to me, so I don't know where anything is.
Not dumb at all! Look a few posts up for the one from Seze. It has a link to the Apple App store. Oh, and zola'u nìprrte' (welcome) to LearnNavi.org!

Just registered to make a few suggestions: - The orange text is hard to read on the icon and in the app
- There are duplicate words (from English to Navi, "alien" is listed twice)
- There should be a warning that the learnnavi.org link will close the app
Also some more features like audio pronunciations of each word, flashcards, learning games, a grammar guide, guide for pronouncing each letter, examples of proper word usage in a sentence (with a translation), and maybe the ability to mark a word as one you know or need to learn would also be great additions once someone has a chance.

Irayo for the feedback. The duplicate entry thing is caused by there being multiple entries with the same English definition, not sure the best way to handle that. All the extra features you mention are all on my todo list and will hopefully make it into a later release of the app.

Translate the meaning, not the words!

There are actually two words for "alien" in Na'vi — one is an adjective ( kewong), one is a noun ( ketuwong).

The Apple iPhone Human Interface Guidelines specify that every links should open in Safari so no need for a warning as this is the expected behaviour.

The only apps I've seen doing that were instant messaging apps back in the days before push notifications because you would get disconnected if you ever tapped one of those links.

True, and with iOS 4 when you open the app up again it's exactly how you left it.

Hmm... I'll need to get iOS4, but that is only a minor setback...

Ngaytxoa, but I don't think most users have read the "Apple iPhone Human Interface Guidelines."

Ngaytxoa, but I don't think most users have read the "Apple iPhone Human Interface Guidelines." True, but all Apps MUST follow those guidelines. I'm not sure exactly if those guidelines are specific or not about links going outside the App other than website links open with Safari and not a web view within the App. I need to consult the guidelines and see if the App needs to stay as is or if adding a pop up warning is acceptable or even mentioned for that matter. I'll look into it when I get the time. Even if I changed it right now, it would be at least a week or two before the update could go live in the App Store, so don't expect a quick turnaround on this.

Srane, Apple is notorious for having a slow app review process.
