I thought of this myself but I think it is different
I fundamentally like this as proposed (a LOT) with two suggested changes.
It has come up from others that this semantic range overlaps with
smon. I feel it undeniably does, but I also feel that it *could be* different. I would like it VERY VERY much if it would also skew toward the meaning of
"comfortable" in the sense of "I am comfortable with this because it is familiar and reassuring to me due to this familiarity." Again, this is not pure physical comfort as in "the bed is comfortable because of the firmness of the mattress", but rather "I am always most comfortable in my own bed." (I sleep better in it because it is the one that I'm most familiar with.)
So change #1 is skew meaning also towards "emotional comfort."
Change #2 is to add a noun
tìwong or
säwong (I prefer
säwong) that generically means "comfort". It could skew toward the physical sense without needing to express that overtly.
Mefor lu säwong fìtsap nìtam slä ke sunu (fìtsap) nìpxi. They are sufficiently comfortable with each other, but don't especially like each other.
Mipa tsasäzärìpä säwongri pa’li ’erefatsu ye li. The horse already seems comfortable with that new bridle.
Furia oel makto ikranit, mi säwong längu flì. I'm still quite iffy about this riding-a-banshee thing.
Fìtstalìri, oeyä tsyokxur ke lu säwong. This knife does not feel comfortable in my hand.
Säwong tsar lu a tsengit riveiun ko. Let's find a comfortable place.
or possibly even with one more derived form:
Fìtsengto lesäwonga tsengot alahe riveiun ko. Let's find somewhere else that's more comfortable than here.
