Reading In Public

From Paul Frommer, creator of the Na'vi language, a contribution for Reading In Public written for us in Na'vi for our Saturday, May 15th event in San Luis Obispo, California: http://thereadinginpublicproject.blogspot.com/2010/05/paul-frommer.html

Tengkrr palulukan moene kxll sarmi, poltxe Neytiril aylì'ut a frakrr 'ok seyä layu oer.

The translation is posted on Reading In Public at http://thereadinginpublicproject.blogspot.com/2010/05/paul-frommer.html.

What is Reading In Public:
On Saturday, May 15th, between the hours of 8am to 2pm, everyone is invited to sit and type at any of the typewriters hosted at several locations in downtown San Luis Obispo, California. We've been collecting contributions as a lead up to this event, and Paul's has been posted today. We hope you'll take some time to read them and if something on our site piques your interest, please feel free to build on it. Post your own version of the story's continuation in comments here: http://thereadinginpublicproject.blogspot.com/2010/05/paul-frommer.html, Twitter: http://twitter.com/readinginpublic/ and/or Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/readinginpublic/, or you can text (805) 628-2283. It can also be something you've authored and needn't be a continuation of any of the posted contributions. If you live in San Luis Obispo (or are visiting that weekend) you can also wait for the May 15th event in San Luis Obispo and type it all on a real live typewriter.

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG I'm in San Luis Obispo, CA!!!!!!

I am DEFINITELY going to write a narrative entirely in Na'vi for this event. Ngaru irayo seiyi!

Perhaps a more thought-out comment will follow after the initial "OMG SOMETHING ACTUALLY HAPPENS IN THIS SLEEPY LITTLE TOWN" excitement wears off...

Oooo, totally jumping on this when I get home tonight.

archaic

Pasha, an Avatar story, my most recent fanfic, Avatar related, now complete.

The Dragon Affair my last fanfic, non Avatar related.

I have completed the first draft of a narrative based on Karyu Pawl's sample sentence, both in English and in (probably bad) Na'vi. I will post it shortly, albeit in another thread, where general grammar questions are more appropriately answered. (I'll link to that here as well once I have it uploaded.)

Thanks again,

Kayrìlien

The event has ended and the results posted. Could you include all our contributions when you post the result here, please?
