Recently, in addition to not seeing <ing> anywhere in the language, I have noticed that ejectives never occur before 'RR.  I have always wondered why that is Huh

Something else to ponder: ejectives hardly occur before 'LL as well.  They are only seen in the words kxll, kxll si and txll'u.  The sequence <pxll> has not been found.

The phonotactic rules certainly allow these constructions. In the case of -ing, K. Pawl may be avoiding it because it sounds 'Englishy'. There is also a very different way to represent a gerund.

As far as ejectives in front of a pseudovowel, if they pronounce well, you might propose some words in the LEP.

I really do hope you can make the Seattle meetup. I would love to learn pronunciation from you!

It doesn't neccesarily have to be an ending.  It could be a word shape like ing'e or tsning (although I have seen how that combination of letters can seem a tad le'Ìnglìsì just by occuring at the end of a word).
