((Sorry for the gap in posting, I need some time off))

The inherent quiet of the Colonel's office was immediately broken by the talking of the Colonel on his comms while the two waited for him. Discussing a matter of relative importance, yet not discernible by either of the two that accompanied him. On and on went the conversation as Quaritch made little to no acknowledgement of them entering or sitting down. He was busy staring off into some imaginary palette of controls and viewers right in front of his face. Making gestures and motions with his hands, touching various invisible buttons in front of his face, which confirming the information he was receiving to the person on the other side.

As if there was some level of comparison between the intensity of the conversation and the abrupt way in which it end, that conversation was severed. As if it had not even happened, and like he had been conversing with the two in his office, he began speaking to them in a rather calm but commanding voice. The voice of a hardened Colonel.

"Welcome back. I've heard that there has been a rather interesting event that happened lately. It seems that those Na'vi decided to attack one of our patrols out in the jungles. They were monitoring the situation and keeping an eye on ya'll when a war party of them decided to move in and strike em. From the initial reports, it seems that those of the Phantom squad tried to subdue the situation using non-lethal tranquillizers, but were still attacked in a very lethal manner. We took some unnecessary casualties, lost a man and another turned rogue."

Quaritch paused for a second as an annoyance could be seen in his facial expressions. He grabbed a data slate on the desk and began to punch a few keys. What came up was a camera feed from the Samson and it replayed the events from before. It showed the phantoms being attacked by the Na'vi individuals. One scene that was focused on was the AVTR that jumped up and attacked the helicopter pilot. After a very clear closeup of the specific Avatar, the camera feed cut.

"So, we now have a rogue avatar driver and a rogue Phantom. Although from what it seems, he was more of a technical specialist than anything. No matter, these men are both considered traitors and are to be detained on sight. Anyways, back tot he topic. After the attack we picked up some rather interesting cargo. It seems there was a boy that was recovered, who was listed missing for a while, by the name of Christian Irving. Also, it seems that although the attack happened, they still managed to capture the Na'vi clan leader. She is being held out in the AVTR compound and undergoing question by the Major."

He flicked a couple more pictures on the data slate but kept it at any angle to where only he could make out what was on the screen. After a moment of somewhat silence only broken by blips and beeps of the data slate, the Colonel looks back up.

"Well, whats next for ya'll. You both have been doing rather well. Now we need to take it a step further. Both of your's next mission is to deliver a very clear and concise message to the Na'vi of that sea tribe. They are to leave their tree within the week. Once they do, we will return their leader to them. Also, let them know that we will help with the relocation if they request it. But let them understand that we will not wait any longer, they have a week-"

Suddenly the door flung open and the Colonel got a little agitated until he saw who it was. Major Kapena had walked in the room and signs of a scuffle were easily apparent as part of his clothes were ripped and he had fresh wounds on him. His blade securely by his side and pistol in it's holster, he walked up to the captain carrying a small package. He dropped it on the Captains lap and looked at the Colonel. Quaritch obviously knew what had just happened and suspected what was inside that case.

"Captain Bob and Doctor Noel, you are both to deliver this to those Na'vi along with the message that the Colonel has given you," Ikaika stated with a very stern look and razor sharpness in his voice. He would not tolerate and bull in this matter.

As the box opened up, well, the site would be both disturbing to some, and satisfactory to others.

((It's the Tsahik's queue fyi))

Eris was groggy at best still. She was managing walking around the medical bay, but to do more than that required more strength than she could easily muster. She was able to go get some food for herself and her son as they both were recovering from the events that had happened before. It was odd at first for her that she didn't recognize him. Yet, the regalia that Christian had taken on was rather alien to her. She justified that the intensity of the situation and the haze of combat disallowed her to recognize her own, but that she applauded her maternal instincts that she had in terms of wanting to rescue her baby.

Once she had grabbed some food and drink, she made her way over to where Christian lay with some manner of coherency. Once there, she could see that her teenage child was dreaming and that the effects of the tranqs were just about to wear off.  She laid the stuffs on the desk next to his bed and sat in the chair next to his gurney. She slowly stroked his hair and smiled, softly calling his name.

Niwantaw

Christian slowly opened his eyes and winced at the unnatural harshness of the medical bay's lights. His head pounded with the after effects of the tranquillizers. He felt a hand gently stroking his hair and a voice softly calling his name and he slowly closed his eyes again to blot out the pain of the harsh light then his thoughts strayed back onto the last thing he remembered before blacking out and he snapped up into a sitting position. The image of Eawnyu lying bruised and batted and the Phantom's closing in on the small group.

"Eawnyu? Apxeyo?..."
He shouted their names desperately as realisation of what had happened dawned on him and he slumped back against the pillows and let the tears flow freely from his eyes.
Only mostly AWOL.

Oh god.....

I can bring the message and.... the 'package' myself, I'll use a link-pod here.

It will be a risk, but I have to take it. Noel thought

Your captain, Bob.... can stay here, let him rest, I think he is bored of the forest anyway, aren't you Bob...  And its better if I do it without Bob, I think they trust a scientist more then they do trust an RDA soldier.

Noel walked out of the room and went first to Grace.

Grace, did you hear that the Tsahìk has been captured and is in the AVTR Compound.

But I need bring a message that Eastern Sea Tribe has a week to leave and also a 'package' you don't wanna know what's in there.

Yes I heard the screams.

I have an idea what's in that 'package'.

Quaritch and Ikaika were rather displeased at what the good Doctor Noel had to say. As he walked out the room, Ikaika followed him and interrupted but him and Grace.

"I'm sorry, but you arn't just going to carry it there. A samson will deliver it to you on site once you get in your Avatar. Also..." Ikaika stares at Augustine just as Quaritch walks up behind Ikaika, "Captain Bob will be accompanying you." With that he snatched the package and walked away.

Tired from his long night Sitse walks to his palet in the caves and catches a nap before having to take his shift watching the Ikrans. The morning light wakes him. He yawns still sleepy after his few hour nap and walks up the path and then to the Tsahik's hut to check on his friends.

Eawnyu streches and winces as the stiches pull on her side. She looks around the hut and slowly gets up trying not to wake Apxeyo. She winces at the light that flashes into the hut as one of the Na'vi leaves. As she makes her way to the outside she glances at the other pallets and starts a bit at seeing a human but dismisses it when she sees that its sleeping. he looks strangely like ma Michael.. she thinks as she shields her eyes and walks slowly to her and her brother's hut. holding her ribs as she ducks in hoping to find him there, she calls his name and gets no reply. she groans as she fishes in one of the baskets for new cloths. She changes slowly being very mindful of her wounds.

Sitse ducks into the Tsahik's hut and checks on Michael still baffled as to why the human is there and not in his avatar body like usual. He moves to Apxeyo and Eawnyu's pallet. he frowns as he sees Eawnyu is gone. Hoping she hasnt hurt herself moving around he leaves to find her. he sees a bit of blood on the ground and hurries to where he thinks she may have gone. Dear Eywa let her be at her hut he prays as he jogs there. just as he slows to enter the hut, she runs into him. oof

he catches her as she falls. ma Sitse!Eawnyu says in surprise

Sitse looks at her blushing abit at holding his friends mate in his arms. he helps her stand straight again.

Cold.

Everything is getting cold near Apxeyo's heart. He looks at himself, his left hand on his chest. He moves slightly revealing a dark hole right over the fourth left rib... and blood, lots and lots of blood on his hand, on his chest, flowing rapidly to the ground. His hands are getting cold. His feet are getting cold. Everything is slowly getting cold.

He looks in front of him and see the man. The human who killed his past and present dead, right before his eyes. Yeah... that colonel... that bastard... that... Ikaika... His stance is perfect for a murderer. He almost look like a warrior, holding his SN-9 firmly with the laser turned on. His face covered in sweat from fighting bare hands with the Na'vi. His left arm, obviously broken, displaying part of a bone that should not even be there in the first place. His eyes, strong, maniac eyes perfectly complementing his grin, appreciating the wonderful trophy he just got.

Apxeyo falls on his knees first but the impact is too strong for the little bit of strength he have left. His body hit the floor in a loud thump. Ikaika still has the laser pointed at his head, just in case, even though he knows very well the end is near. Apxeyo uses everything little bit of energy he have to lift his eyes in direction of his murderer as a reminder that everything is pointless and that everyone dies one day, except the one who gets to eywa, except the Na'vi.

Ikaika frown at the thought. Apxeyo smiles. Demons never wins...

========================================

A rush of life-force gets him awake in a jump. His first reflex is to reach for his ribcage to feel everything in the right place. Fortunately, everything his right. Even his arm and hand which now moves correctly, without pain. He will be able to do what he planned for today. Even if she don't want him too. He will. After all, it was the Tsahìk who first locked him down from getting his Ikran. Since she's not here anymore, she can't or ask anyone to force him to wait any longer. Plus, she needs help... and fast.

Still cold, he looks around. The Tsahìk hut with its warm lights fill his view, but not his blood. There is a human on the other side of the room. He looks familiar. A sharp light get to Apxeyo's eyes. Someone just got in. Eawnyu just got in. He quickly look back to the place he's been resting for the past few hours. There's a couple drops of blood there and there but his mate definitely walked away. His warmth walked away.

Kal... txì... ma Eawnyu... he says still not completely awake, still stuck in his bad dream. He continues with a troubled look on his face.
hey... Eawn...yu...

Apxeyo hesitate. He shown to her images of his past once already, similar images, and she didn't took it very well. But things have changed since then. Now she is ready and willing to see and understand.

He takes her into his memories. Try to remember everything that happens. The world around them collapse in a brease. Fly away as if it were only thousands of leafs forming a complex mosaic. Behind is only a world of shadows and light. Everything is blurred to a point colours aren't even distinguishable from shades of grey.

Two Na'vi, clearly shaped and coloured, Apxeyo and Eawnyu are fighting in the fog. Vage sounds of bullet screams around their heads. They are in a battle against the sky-people. Only the motive is clear: Saving the Tsahìk.

A third shape materialize way in the distance. It's a man. A man who killed thousands of Na'vi. He's running toward Apxeyo and pounce him with his bare hands; Punch him straight in the face.

They fight for a little while. Eawnyu is so busy preventing outsiders to hurt Apxeyo than she can't even help him. Every time she tries to place an arrow in the man's heart, something threaten her mate. Apxeyo finally manage to grab the sky-person's left arm and slowly crush it with all his strength. A bone show up at a place that it's not supposed to be. The shard cut Apxeyo's hand who is forced to release his grip on the man.

Then, like if everything was going well, an enormous explosion shakes the ground. Somehow we both know from where it came from. Christian. It was just a few meters from where he was kept.

Something is wrong. A weird tingling feelings goes through the bond. Eawnyu looks at Apxeyo and nod. He nods back then she runs toward the sound, deep in the fog. She can't control herself, like if the vision was stronger than her mind... and his too...

Everything was just happening as before. Ikaika pulled the Wasp out of his belt. Point-blank at Apxeyo with the laser turn on, like if it was his last shot and missing it would end everything.

Everything happened just as before. Eawnyu went to save Christian so she didn't saw anything. She can only feel it. She jerk herself backward, look in the direction of Apxeyo and sees only fog.

Cold...

Apxeyo take a deep breath. He look at Eawnyu straight in her soul. They don't need the bond for that. Their eyes can say everything. He his holding both queue in his hands. Both still feels like the nerves themselves are burning. The bond was forcefully stopped... just before he dies...

Apxeyo turn his head slightly to face Eawnyu. She's right there, just as beautiful as that other time, begging for the link to be redone. A few tears fall off his eyes as he close them. He get closer to her, holding her hand with a light touch as their soul connect again and gently and slowly press his lips against hers.

When they opened their eyes, Apxeyo smiles thinking about what he just did and how good he feels about what she said.

As the day broke over Hell's Gate, the miner's of the camp already began to head to their job. Many of them steeled and/or dulled by the monotony of their work had glazed over the fact that there was a Na'vi in captivity. The news had spread like wild fire with the morning reveille. The majority of the miners were blasè to that fact. The majority of the administrative staff either didn't care or kept quiet as they had a job to do. Practically all the scientists, minus the geologists, physicists, and chemists were in an outrage. That outrage was quickly and easily suppressed by the invigorated SecOps forces. They were in high morale after the news of the capture of the Tsahìk. The guards all around the based had been tripled and all the guns on the walls surrounding Hell's Gate were activated, for although the Ikaika knew this was a great victory, he still needed to be careful.

The news of the condition of the Tsahìk was kept rather quiet, and no one outside of the Phantoms knew what had become of her. Yet, to every single one of them, this was one of the greatest things to celebrate. Not only had they captured the leader of their enemy, done a major blow to her psyche, but also exacted revenge for their fallen. Their efforts redoubled, they maintained full battle ready status and kept at peak efficiency. The phantoms weren't stupid, they knew that with this would come an escalation of things.

Back with Noel and Bob, as they would wake up they would receive instructions of returning to the Na'vi camp and meeting at a rendezvous point about 2 clicks outside of their base camp. At exactly 1636 Pandoran time, they would receive the package in which was to be delivered. The details on their receiving of the package were not listed. Only the coordinates and time in which they were to be where they needed to be.

Eris was shocked at what she saw. Her son was spouting of random words in desperation of some sort. It tugged at her mind of an event that was fleeting to her, as if it was just beyond her realm of recollection. The doctor on staff rushed over to make sure that the boy was fine, but Eris pushed her away when Christian sunk into his pillow and began crying.

Eris heart immediately sunk as she saw her son crying. She began to tear up herself as she went to grab for Christian, to console him. "Oh honey..."

the sound of heavy footsteps leave the hut... blurry red vision full of tears... the feeling of the cold wet floor... almost unbearable pain... unable to process what just happened... events, that just few by, replay over and over again... how have i become so weak??... images of Eani's mate and her people, her parents, her brothers, her beloved Ikran all flow by her mind's eye as tears stream hard down her face mixing with dirt and blood... heartache and emotional pain rises in her throat squeezing making it difficult to breath... Eywa... then the reality of not being able to connect... tears swell and Eani's heart begins to feel as if Eywa herself is tearing it apart.... why didn't i fight harder.... dear Eywa save me....... everything becomes nub as if Eywa heard her prayer... or maybe the damaged to her queue has effected the whole nervous system...

...minutes pass...

laying in a puddle of her own blood Eani decides if she is to die... then she will die with pride... and with her own people... with all her strength Eani pulls herself to a box and sits herself on the lowest level of the stack... once fully stable Eani slowly tears strips from the cloth they clothed her in and tends to the already healing wounds on her body... then she moves to what is left of her queue... tenderly bandages the remaining nub that was once a long vibrant black queue... tears swell again...

"Another day and dollar to be made, haha! Yeah, so, give me the report for the day," Parker said with his usual fake enthusiasm. It was another day on this prison sentence of a moon. To many it was considered the premium position to have, but selfridge knew all too well how abysmal it really was to be here. Morning procedure dictated that a situational report be gathered of the previous days events and also the expected goals of the day to come.

His assistant, a cute little thing no older than 25 juggled the various dataslates she was carrying. Yet, with a precision mastered by the years worth of time she had been on the moon had managed to master the art of handing all the senior staff their pad, despite the constrictive corporate yet sultry skirt in which she wore. Once she completed that task, she dimmed the lights in the meeting room and began to relay the report.

"Administrator, for the list if major events that happened yesterday is a small one but the points it has are rather dire. I believe that Major Ikaika should report on that." the lovely assistant made a small flirtatious glance over at the major as she relinquished her the floor to him.

Unaffected, he slightly glared at the assistant a big, but on the inside enjoyed the flattering. He turned toasted the administrator and colonel quaritch. Nodding first, he began his report. "Yesterday my phantom forces suffered an attack from the na'vi that live along the eastern coastline. They were doing a simple recon mission, commencin overwatch for our assets in the area, and when they went closer in to investigate, they fell under hostile actions. We have a video file as captured by the Samson in the area."

Ikaika flick on the projector and the playback began. "As toucan see here, one ignite na'vi had been gravely injured and one of our Ken had moved in to assist the fallen. For their own security, as you can see here, they used only non-lethal weapons to maintain control ofthe situation as they commenced their humanitarian aid. Yet, for as much as I had bee saying, the na'vi are very hostile and attacked our scouts."

Grace had been watching this with utter disgust. One the mention of the na'vi being hostile, she blew up in an outrage. "Ikaika this is utter bulls***! Parker, you know for a fact the na'vi would not attack unless threatened first."

Ikaika looked at grace with a grin as he allowed the rest of the recording to play. It showed how the na'vi attacked and killed Ghost. Also a close up of the AVTR Michael had assaulted the Samson pilot and killed it. "Well doc, it seems that you're own scientists assisted in the attack too." With that, Grace was left speechless and sat down. "Now we know that the timeline has moved a lot faster than what was wanted for these na'vi to leave the area, but it shows here how truly hostile they are. Yet, from this attack one of my phantoms did manage to grab their leader and take her hostage."

Ikaika turned to look towards the avatar side of the compound. "I tried to negotiate with her last night and attempt to allow her people to peacefully move with our assistance of course. Yet, she didn't not accept theorems and attacked me. Yet again proving their hostilities. Now all is not lost, I have given the two operatives in the tribe a bargaining chip to have the na'vi move one last time. If they don't, we may need to urge them to leave."

Parker had a gaunt look on his face, only amplified by the slight smirks on quaritch and Ikaika's face. " give me the rest of the report, we'll talk more about this later."

The assistant was taken a little off guard by the video but gathered herself and began to tell the rest if the report. "Yes administrator, well the Angel platform is reporting a slight technical malfunction and repair crews are en route to the orbital stations asap..."

Emtokay

Bob was walking towards the Colonels office as he needed to get a quick brief on this next mission. Then he was going to tell them that he wanted out from being in the AVTR program. He walked and was still half asleep, tired from an unknown reason. The most likely cause is probably the prolonged use in the link pod.

He walked past Grace
"Morning Doc."

She continued right past Bob with an upset and angry expression on her face.
"jeez whats up with her he thought"
As he walked another couple steps he kinda realised what was up and couldn't care less

He continued over to the Major and Colonel. Was a bit surprised to see Parker and an assitant standing there so he stood back and waited a little bit until he thought it was safe to walk over and get his next set of instructions.

While he stood there watching he let out a big yawn. After he had finished yawning a air traffic control person said to him
Am I keeping you up Captain

Bob took no offence to this. It reminded him of life back on Earth with TAG East and TAG West. Just the smart arse attitude of people. He smiled at the controlman and replied
I havnt heard that one in a long time

After saying that he continued standing there and waiting for Parker to finished chatting with the Major and Colonel. He took a set on an empty chair and rested his eyes for a minute. Right before he did they he asked if the air traffic control person would wake him before any of ther bosses were coming in his direction

Meanwhile back at the colonel's office, Major Ikaika had left to go check on the prisoner once more and Quaritch was headed to the Machine shop when an orderly alerted him to the two guys waiting for them. He got quite annoyed at the fact that their orders were already given to them and they were to conduct them as they saw fit. He told to the orderly to relay the orders once more and to make sure they knew they were being watched.

The Orderly walked over to Noel and re-handed him the order, and on seeing bob sleeping, he just pinned it to his chest before walking away, letting everyone get a nice chuckle before he woke up.
