Some of these questions may require input from Cameron on Na'vi culture, but here goes:

to Earn - v. | Not necessarily monetary - "Earn your keep," "You've earned a beating (skxawng!)"

I realized we didn't have this when I wanted to say "You learn what you earn."

Even if the Na'vi society doesn't use money or even trading for that matter, the concept of "earning" is still likely to exist.

This leads me to word #2:

Due / "Just desserts" / "Deserved fate" / "Comeuppance" - n. | I don't mean this with a negative connotation (as it usually has in English), but rather when someone "gets what they earned/deserve."  If we had a word for "earn" we might be able to construct this, but since we don't I figured I'd ask for both.

Following into word #3:

Revenge - n. | Obviously something the Na'vi understand (at least conceptually) with Jake's "well we will send THEM a message" speech.

And a related word #4:

to Avenge - v. | Basically, a verb that means "to get revenge."  This one seems necessary to add since it can be used when some third party is getting revenge FOR someone else, and not that person directly avenging their own wrong.  This could, however, be constructed using "[revenge] si" maybe (but "avenge" is most definitely transitive [I-ERG will avenge <you/a person/an action>-ACC]).

Another somewhat related word #5:

to Vindicate - v. | Similar to avenge, but it can be used for other purposes... The synonym-definition according to Wikipedia: "To liberate; to set free; to deliver; To avenge; to punish" - This word typically has a more noble connotation, and usually means "to get justice for" some other party that is typically otherwise unable to get justice for themselves.  Exacting justice is related but somewhat different than exacting revenge.

Thoughts or concerns on these words?

Good suggestions, and excellent explanations!

I'm not entirely sure these suggestions are under the right category... Can anyone think of a better category to put them under?

In the meantime, I thought of another word that somehow escaped my initial list...

Justice - n. | Since we have a word for "right/fair/proper" (muiä), it would seem the Na'vi would definitely have "justice," the concept of "right/fair/proper-ness."  While this might be achieved somewhat with tìmuiä ("fairness," which is inside of "justice"), "justice" has more uses (as a concept) than "fairness."
