And here I thought we were just going to talk about Flying, Military Flying, Experimental Aircraft design, construction, and flying, and perhaps Hunting, Mountain Climbing, XC Skiing, and sailing. Oh well, it will keep us from talking politics, or religion while on that long road trip.
If I mentioned ed Harrington, would you know who I was talking about?
Niri Te

Dang! I was hoping that there would be someone along who wanted to talk the whole time about the politics of religion.....  ;)

In any case, it looks like there is going to be a good bit of talk about flying! We could add recreational flying, bad weather flying, multiengine flying, hard IFR flying, etc. etc. I'm sure we'll talk about falulukan a fair bit, too.

If we are eating on the road, shall I bring a picinic basket? (says BooBooBear Ateyo)
I was thinking of trail mix,PBJs, cold cut sandwiches, hard boiled eggs!
pew! on second thought, no eggs! AND SOME JERKY FOR THE PALULUKAN!
No raw yerik meat in the car, it will stain the upholstery!

A cooler would probably be better. That can hold cold drinks as well.

We have two insulated bags and a small cooler (six pack size) everything else we have is too cumbersome. You can tell I am excited about this trip~ the meetup is five months away!

`Eylan Ayfalulukanä

I have coolers of various sizes that we can switch around to if needed. For that matter, ELM might have an appropriate cooler as well. That way we might be able to get everyone's food and drink in one cooler and save space for everyone. And a real cooler will work better than any insulated bags. Especially if you have sandwiches, etc. that need to stay cool.

Yeah, I am excited, too!
