Is there any way to "as adj as" in Na'vi? Do we know the right construction? I really doubt if that is:

I'm as good as you.
Oe lu na sìltsan na nga.

I'd rather prefer:

Oe lu sìltsan na/pxel nga.

But is it a meaning that we need? What do you think?

Yea, adpositions don't go with adjectives, so na... na... is too English.  I personally favor, fìtxan ADJ na/pxel N, but this issue came up at the workshop in October (along with similar issues about adjective comparisons), and Frommer hasn't made a ruling yet.

This seems like a natural use for the topical for me e.g. "ngari oe lu fìtxan sìltsan" although there's no real basis for that.

Well, I particularly like fìtxan ADJ na/pxel N since it's the same way as in my native language, Polish (that Na'vi is a bit similar to). 'Oe lu sìltsan fìtxan na nga.' sounds quite good, at least for me.

But I came up with yet one question. Is pxel and na appropriate only for nouns or pronouns (na nga, pxel skxe mì te'lan, na fo) or is it allowed also for whole sentences? Is
I'm strange just like you were.

correct?

Well, right. That may be correct, but I'm always very unsure about the Topical. Although it seems to be correct way, there should be at least one more.

Erm, my instinct is to say no.  I think this might be a good place to use (nì)tengfya (hìtxoa, i still don't really understand when to use which of those two  :-[)

Karyu Pawl has come up with a construction for this.  I have one follow-up question to him about it.  Once he confirms that, I'll post it.
