Maybe this is better placed in Linguistics ... but anyway.

We have ‹am› and ‹ay› as 'past' and 'future' or praeteritum and futurum (if I'm not mistaken) in linguistic terminology.

Now, I wanted to know if there a latin/greek based terminology for ‹ìm› and ‹ìy› as well, other than 'near/immediate past/future'.

Can somebody help?

Except for replacing English "near" with the more majestic Latinate "proximate," I know of no special single terms for these.
