It shows the body of a naked goth girl, full of tatoos, piercings, Ankhs, crosses, pentagrams, ... And I do NOT like that pic because it shows a naked girl.

Yeah, I do prefer GNOME, I can get along with KDE and I have noooo idea how to install GNOME on a BSD-System. :D

LXDE and XFCE can also be quite nice...but my favorite is GNOME.

Try this:

Root terminal:
root@pcbsd:~# pkg_add -r gnome2 && pkg_add -r gdm

Well.... thanks. :D

This is how to install GNOME, and how do I remove KDE? Or can I install both and choose what I want to use?

I never used BSD-systems, but I think this might help:

Terminal:
user@pcbsd:~$ man pkg_delete

Sorry, I don't know names of KDE packages in PSBSD. Maybe kde4 and kdm.
Nìrangal frapo tsirvun pivlltxe nìNa'vi :D

Elektrolurch

So it would be ...

man pkg_delete -r kde4 && pkg_delete -r kdm

And what do "man" and "-r" mean? :)

Kemaweyan

man is manual. So command man pkg_delete shows manual how to use command pkg_delete.

Argument -r means "Use the remote fetching feature. This will determine the appropriate objformat and release and then fetch and install the package." (from manual). This command I found in Google :)

So command of uninstalling KDE should be

Root terminal:
root@pcbsd:~# pkg_delete -r kdm && pkg_delete -r kde4

But perhaps I'm mistaken with names of packages ::)

Wuii, that's nice, 1000 thanks. :D

I'll try it as soon as I get my new pc. I'm still afraid of accidentally destructing something...
