Irayo!

This audio clip was great!  It's nice to have easy to get recordings of others pronouncing the language, especially when it is pronounced correctly.

I am under the impression that all native English speakers have a little trouble with the ä, though  ;)

As a native Turkish speaker, which language uses the standard IPA sounds, I will try to explain the sound differences between a and ä, and i and ì.

1. a and ä:
The first A should be voiced like an a in "father" or "car" or "arm"
and the second Ä should be voiced like a sound -that can not be represented as any of the english letters- maybe a in "cat" or a in "black".
Here is a trick: Do the [a] sound while your mouth is about to give a sound like [oh] and try to say a. Now, give your mouth a smiling shape and try to say [a] again. The second [a] sound must be like [ä] ;)

2. i and ì:
The first İ should be voiced like an i in "fish" or "flip" or an ee in "see"
and the second Ì should be voiced like ee in "keep" or an i in "hit" or "sitting".
Here is the trick: Do the [ i ] sound while your chin is forwarded. I mean your lower teeth must be before your upper teeth and try to say i. Now, do the vice versa. Your lower teeth must be after your upper teeth and a little more open your mouth. And try to say the same i again. Heard the difference? ;)

I can make this post voiced if anyone have any troubles about my English and don't understand anything about what i wanted to tell here :D

Edit:
Ok, finally i decided to show you the differences with an audio sample. Here is the file you can hear the differences:
Voice order: a, ä, a, ä, i, ì, i, ì --> Listen from here

Hmmm, I was under the impression that ì (IPA: I) was pronounced with a little more "ihh" in there.

Ahh, sure you are right.. My mistake i'm sorry.

I wrongly ordered the i and ì. In the mp3 file I ordered first "IPA ı" and then "IPA i". Now I changed to the correct order as first "IPA i" and then "IPA ı". Info: The orders of a and ä not changed.

P.S: Forgive me about the mistake. I have recorded over than 400 files of pronunciation of the words in the dictionary of Taronyu, and i guess it blowed my mind up enough :)

Yeah, that reminds me, I totally am going to have to go over those tonight and add them into the spoken dialog and get Taronyu to add them into the audio dictionary.

I am still working on this and now I have already some hundreds of files too :)..

Maybe waiting 1 or 2 days more tho? :)
