Feel free to use my recordings for community projects as well.  Just as long as you don't go trying to make money off it without talking to me first. :P  (Not that I expect anyone here would do that.)

Also some titles of the files don`t match to the words, like Swir (supposed to be Swirä), but fortunately (and oddly its shows fine on when i turn them on with winamp.
Personally i don`t take the Na`vi as alien because i think i understand them.

When I look on the news and see what horrible things are happening around the world I can`t help but wonder what is the source of them and therefore my own race is becoming more and more alien to me as time passes by.

Does that make any sense?

Yes, the hosting site (Internet Archive) doesn't like the non-English characters so it deletes them from the file name (meh). However in the song title it should do them correctly since that's independent of the hosting site.

Really? You're doing the link on the original post? What happens when you click on it?

Which file? The dictionary, the na'vi words, the na'vi-english words, or the individual files.

Any chance of getting these files in QuickTime?

Why would you want them in QuickTime? Mp3 is by far a more universal format.

This is possibly the most useful file I've found here to date. Repeatedly reading, writing and re-reading the words just wasn't making them stick. I've been using these audio files for a week now and I've learned almost all of them. I really hope that someone has the time and motivation to expand this file to cover the entire (known) vocabulary.

Wow, irayo ma tsumukan! I'm glad these are working out so well for you. They are currently expanding by about 10-20 words a day, updated every two days or so. The ultimate goal I have for this is to have EVERY Na'vi word spoken as well as common sentences and phrases. Then, (quite a ways off) I plan on trying to get a whole Na'vi learning program setup that will, both visually and auditorily, walk people through learning the Na'vi language.

More new words coming very soon.

Thats awesome.  I've used your words for my anki deck.  Would it be possible to add what words where added/changed in the version file?

This is awesome Ftiafpi! Thanks so much. I went through just now out of sheer boredom to see if I could help with any errors that might have been missed and this is what I came up with.

a lot of words ending in "e" sound more like a mixture of "e" + "ä", sounds like an accent slipping through ^_^
na'rìng - emphasis on wrong syllable
kinamtil - emphasis should be on the second syllable not the first
hapxì - sounds like hapxe instead of hapxì
tìkawng - the t and k are exremley soft, almost to the point of sounding like h's
lahe- emphasis should be put on the first syllable, not spread evenly
rutxe, mokri, tìrol, sìlronsem - r's are barely rolled if at all (alveolar tap/flap)***
munge - emphasis is on the first syllable, also the pronounciation of "ng" is incorrect (listen to Dr. Frommer's interview where he explains this)
nìwotx - is being pronounced as if it were spelled with an "i" as opposed to an "ì"

Those are the only things that I noticed. Just trying to help you out. This is an awesome project and I can't wait to have a fully functional audio dictionary! If you need any help, don't hesitate ma tsumkan!

**Also, just a side note: the ejectives that were pronounced in some words are entirely fluid, almost to the point of not being recognizable as ejectives. While getting rid of the pause in between the ejective consonants and the following vowel is correct, I find that when Dr. Frommer speaks, he doesn't do away with it entirely, nor do the actors and actresses in the film; it just seems more like a quick and slightly rough transition. This is all just speculation of course and just something to mull over.

Thanks for all the work you've put into this, it really is a very useful project! Irayo!

rutxe, mokri, tìrol*, sìlronsem - r's are barely rolled if at all

I don't follow your 'correction' here. Are you suggesting that these words ought to have the rolled 'r'?

The way I understood it, the double 'r' (rr) is rolled, the single r is a 'flap'
