The tool I was using before I'm about 90% sure had many mispronounciations. This seems like it's far more accurate though I haven't tried all of them yet. Then again, I'm hardly an expert on this yet.

Whats the word count currently up to?

This thing is really awesome! I have the English, Na'vi, English version running on Itunes whenever I'm on this site. It really helps me with both pronunciation and vocab. I even have it on my Ipod now in it's own playlist!

Are you sure the pronunciations are correct for each Na'vi word? A few seem like they may be off, but I'm no expert.

The only one I've noticed that isn't 100% correct is "tok" (I forgot to do the unreleased 'k') and many of them were done when my accent wasn't as good as it is now but they should be 90% correct or better.

That said, if you have any questions about anything please let me know.

I just listened through all of them, and I spotted a few errors:

Aynga - has a distinct g sound

Eyk - is missing the k

Irayo - sounds like ìrayo

Kewong - sounds like kìwung

Muiä - sounds like muia

Munge - also has a g sound

Ngawng - sounds like nawn

Nguway - has g sound

Rä'ä - has an english r sound

Tìng - sounds like ting

Txìng - sounds like txing

Yìm - sounds like yim

Ätxäle - sounds like ätxale

Other than that, most of it sounds like the proper words with an american accent  :P

I'd also like to help by recording words  :)

You're totally right, I'll get right on fixing these.

Yeah, some of these are from before I'd perfected the 'ng' sound. I'll fix them.

Quote
Eyk - is missing the k
Nope, Na'vi p, t, and k are unreleased at the end of a word.

Quote
Kewong - sounds like kìwung
Hmm, it does a little, I'll improve this one.

Quote
Muiä - sounds like muia
Hmmm, it does a little doesn't it.

Quote
Ngawng - sounds like nawn
Really? Sounds fine to me.

Quote
Tìng - sounds like ting
Txìng - sounds like txing
Hmmm, they're really similar, not sure what I can really do here other than over-emphasize the 'ì' sound.

Quote
Yìm - sounds like yim
I don't here it but I'll redo it to make sure.

Quote
Ätxäle - sounds like ätxale
Wow, can't believe I missed that one, I know better than that.

I'd also like to help by recording words  :)

Or record the same words hearing multiple people say words would also help those of use listening and speaking trying to get an accent pick up on what the word sounds like as opposed to what one person saying the words sounds like.

But thanks a bunch.

That might be something to do down the road but, for now, I think lets just concentrate on getting all the words recorded.

I just want to commend Ftiafpi not just for making all these recordings, but for being so completely open to re-recording and re-re-re-re-recording as needed each time someone listens to a word and points out something that maybe didn't sound exactly spot-on perfect.  It's really quite remarkable to see.

Irayo! It does get a little weary sometime (I think I've done munge about 4 times or something) but it's worth it.

How do we give out Karma cookies?

You need to make five more posts, and then you'll get "applaud" and "smite" buttons with which to give people cookies or coal.
