Yet another: Am I pronunciating this right-thread

First post! So, as the newbie I am, I have been focusing on the phonetics of Na'vi; Am I pronunciating the ejectives right? I feel like I may be exaggerating the tx's and px's (especially the px's!), but I kind of like it! Feel free to comment on my mistakes (of course)!

Your tokx is *way* to aspirated for the /t/.

There's too much air between the release of the ejectives in kxener, txantstew, txantur and the following vowel.

But you have the basic idea down.

Just to add to what good ol' annis has said. The 'e' on the end of atxkxe sounds to much like 'ey' when you say it. Your ejectives are decent except for the few annis has mentioned, but all of them in general could be shortened up a tiny bit yet I think.

A few things are off.

In kaltxì you're saying a [ ɑ ] not an [ a ] it should be like the a in the spanish casa. You got it right in atxkxe although the e was a bit dipthongy. Your tokx was also a [ ɒ ] not a [ o ], it should be like the first sound in row (it normally gets dipthongised) also, as annis says, the t was too aspirated.

Your px has far too big a pause before the vowel. Also you pronounce pxan a bit more like pxam, just watch that.

In txantsew you've got too much of a pause before the vowel which you're pronouncing a [ ɒ ] not [ a ] and then in the dipthong it sounds to me like you're starting on [ o ] not [ ɛ ]. In txantur again you've replaced the [ a ] with a [ ɒ ].

Too much pause in kxitx and kxener again but the vowels are all good. The kx sounds a bit clicky as opposed to poppy although that could be me or the mike.

Also you pronounce pxan a bit more like pxam, just watch that.

Actually, I think it's because I have a cold right now, but I'll be aware of that!

The kx sounds a bit clicky as opposed to poppy although that could be me or the mike.

My kx might a bit off, I can't seem to make the popping sound.

It seems like I still have to practice my pronunciation a bit, but I'm lucky in that I have all the Na'vi vowel sounds(except the ì) in my two native languages. Again: Thank you for helping me out

Ok, so I have been practicing my pronunciation today, and this is what I got out of your corrections Am I on the right track (sorry for the nagging!)?

The words (in the right order):
Kaltxì, Tokx, Kxener, Kxitx, Pxan, Pxor, Pxun, Txantsew, Txantur.

Your o in tokx was still the wrong one.

In pxan you got the n right (I understand about the cold btw, just making sure you know that you got it this time) but you replaced the a with a uh as in butter (most accents I can think of).

You accidentally trilled the r in pxor instead of flapping it (but then I often do that too so who am I to criticise  ).

In txantur you pronounced the a like a o as in caught (Northern American), Boston (Bosotonian), Hot (RP) or Park (SA).

Is it supposed to be more like åu/åo or ou? That's how I pronunce row/mow (råuw/måuw), but my pronunciation might be wrong.

I don't think I get the symbols you're using.

It should be the vowel

• [/url] which is often in row as a dipthong with [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Near-close_near-back_vowel][ʊ][/url]. So like the first sound in row (if you speak with a General American accent), otherwise, if you're an ozzy or kiwi in caught.
