Yet another am-I-speaking-this-correctly thing...
« on: October 16, 2011, 10:13:14 pm »
So I am not technically a newbie (hopefully) but I haven't gone on anything interactive and haven't checked my Na'vi pronounciation against anything other than the IPA, so hopefully you can give me some suggestions...

Could you perhaps post the dialogue too so I can have a better idea of what you're saying so I can accurately critique pronunciation?

Ma Txonä, the dialogue of the first recording is of Mo'at at the Tree of Souls, and the second recording is a few of my tongue-twisters.  You can also check these out in the gallery.

Ohhh, that would explain why I couldn't make sense of the second one LOL I was listening for like a dialogue or something. The pronunciation was very good tho, good ejectives and vowels :)

In the 1st one, just a couple things: "mik-YUN"; careful not to mix up the sounds of i and ì like in "tirea", "tìng", and "tivìran"; also a little brighter a sound on "ngeyä" to contrast the -yä and ya sounds in "ngeyä ya"

Other than that, poltxe nìtsan ma tsmukan :)
