Same with me... how I could forget it, I still ask myself :-[ ;D

Is it only in the extra extended Collector's Extended Cut version of the movie?

Err, I disagree with the basic point being made here.

[paraphrasing]Just putting more of Pandora on screen isn't sufficient for a successful movie.

OK, Avatar1 didn't have the most complex plot ever, Inception it isn't. Did that drive audiences away? It's not how I remember it.
Did people re-watch over and over, in part because immersion into the world was awesome? Yes, as it happens.

So, knowing Cameron's past history with making hugely successful sequels, should I be worried that it's going to be little more than beautifully rendered and stunning gorgeous alien land and seascapes?
Not really.
Even if it was, there would likely still be queues round the block to watch it, for 2 or 3 months. I'd be there!
So, if you are in a queue for Avatar2, and you see two very excited oversized Nantang, come say hi!

Quote"Avatar's environmentalism felt rather underwhelming."
As I recall, at the time, there were at least some who accused Cameron of sledgehammering the environmental message in Avatar.

The world has changed a lot in the last eleven years (I believe that Avatar1 had a part to play in that).
