Stephen Lung hoped that his hero was cloned. In my opinion this is not the best idea. In any case, it is Cameron's solution, but I don't think he would agree.
It isn't possible. Avatar is realistic scifi, not low quality soft scifi with no link to reality as such cloning appears in. Even if the RDA did for some inexplicable reason spend millions on an expendable marine (who failed at his job anyway) then a clone would still have absolutely none of Quaritch's memories, skills or abilities, just the same DNA. I find those 'cloning creates a duplicate of someone' misconceptions infuriating.

Agree. Clone is only genetic, no mental copy.

It did not seem to be confirmed. Judging from the hints Avatar II and III will be continuing.

Sure I've read somewhere that the two sequels will follow on from avatar, a few years later.

Wow, necro post!

OK, kinda relevant.

Sure I've read somewhere that the two sequels will follow on from avatar, a few years later.
Yeah, that was then, and back then that was the reason why I 'only' wrote fanfic Avatar2 and 3.
(I still not convinced killing Tsu'tey was a one of Cameron's best ideas, but I will be contented too be proven wrong on this)
