So I found this on Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/James-Camerons-Avatar-High-Ground/dp/1506709095

Its the first part of 3 volume adaptation from Dark Horse of the original screenplay for Avatar 2!

QuoteDisover more of the Avatar saga in this direct prequel to the film Avatar 2!

James Cameron' screenplay, "The High Ground," was intended as the first sequel to the biggest blockbuster of all time, Avatar. Discarded in favour of other ideas, the original screenplay is being adapted into a three-part graphic novel series.

It has been almost a decade since the humans were forced to leave Pandora - but now they're returning - with an armada of heavily-armed starships! After years of peace, Jake Sully has settled down with Neytiri and raised a family, so for him, the stakes are even higher than when he first went to war against the corporate might of the RDA.

Adapted for comics by award-winning author Sherri L. Smith (The Toymaker's Apprentice, Orleans, and others), and illustrated by Brazilian artist Guilherme Balbi, Avatar: The High Ground, Volume 1 - Advent to War ventures into all-new territory in the Avatar saga, and is a direct prequel to next year's release of the film Avatar 2!

It looks like Cameron wrote this screenplay, then decided he didn't just want to write a war movie (I think those were his words) and decided to focus the actual sequels on the aftermath of these events.

It appeared they've hidden the page to stop the leak (even if its returning hits on other websites even if the page doesn't work).

Thank fully the actual image isn't down yet.

Toliman

Yeah, it could be right.

I hope, knowing now that it is waiting for us, that we don't have to wait a whole year and the leak was the old planned release date for a 2020 sequel arrival, crosses fingers, it would be beyound awesome to get an "early" sequel in the form of a comic, as I have been dieing to continue the story after Jake opens his eyes as a Na'vi at the end of Avatar 1. And this would do that.
