Grace will come back (I think)! But how?

because thier bodies or energy has been returned to Eywa, but Grace's Na'vi body was still alive but did have her spirit in it. Grace's human body died at the Tree of Souls, so then they couldnt pull her spirit into that vessel. that is why the Na'vi would not bring back other Na'vi that have past to Eywa.

It's been 'somewhat confirmed' ever since she hinted as much in a few interviews, although nothing is at all definite yet.

That right there is the basis of my theory. I mean... Yeah, Grace's human body died, and her soul/spirit went to Eywa. But who's to say that that wasn't the reason it didn't transfer to the Avatar body? Maybe she wanted to be with Eywa for a lot longer. ... then something will provoke her to return to her Avatar body, and she will, somehow have that happen.

Eh, it's late. I don't have it all mapped out how it would happen, but it's the beginning of a theory.

I'd like to believe she comes back at some point.. even if its some type of "vision" or something of the sort.. She played to important of a part within each of the characters to simply just die..

I agree with you. Grace really didn't die at the transfer process. Her human body dies, because of her injuries caused by Quaritch. Between the attack of him and the transfer process were definitely a few hours. That explains why she was very weak and had no more energy to come back from eywa. So the official side. Earlier in the transfer scene, she said she would die for a few samples. Maybe she got some other samples (knowledge about the memory network) from eywa and she decided to be with her (for a while?).
She also said scientists don't belive in wonders, everthing can be explained logical.

I think she could come back when Mo'at or Neytiri (maybe when she is the next tsahìk?) are trying to call her back to her avatar body. But Grace wouldn't expect this.

Grace would let one of the people know that she could/wants to come back and they will be trying to call her back in another ceremony.

A quick look to this scene in the '95 scriptment shows me the answer about Grace.

Grace could come back as like a ambassador to Eywa, like an avatar of Eywa or something like that. She could also be in visions when like Jake connects to the Tree of Souls.
