I just came back from watching Avatar for the second time i realized i understood ALOT of the language they were speaking and also i got a very sore right eye because it was in 3-D and the right lens made it blurry...

Well anyhow that's a bit off topic.

I told my friend who saw the movie with me that James Cameron said that it be part of a trilogy and my friend was like "I reckon it will end like this.."

This is basically his idea

In the third installment of avatar, they Na'vi go to earth and give them some kind of seed (like the home tree or something) and give it to the people on Earth who then plant it and wait for earth to rebuild itself. He got this idea because when Jake Sully says to Eywa in the tree of ancestors (or whatever) that the Sky People have detroyed their planet and lost its greenery. So he concluded that maybe the Na'vi give the greenery back.

Just his theory which i thought was quite intriguing...

Thanks

That would probably not happen, as the atmosphere on Pandora differs greatly from Earth's atmosphere. Still, a nice idea. :P

Actually the only reason for humans not being able to breath the atmosphere is becuase of the toxins that get filtered out by the masks but the oxygen level is similar to Earth's so they should be able to go to Earth.

I for one hope that Mr. Cameron takes his time making the next movie. I would hate to see him rush and come up with a sequel that lets its fans down, like skimping on the details. (Personally, I'd like to see more of Pandora.) I hope the quality of the sequel either matches or exceeds the quality of the first film. As a matter of fact, if it took four or five years for Mr. Cameron to make the sequel, I would NOT complain. I hope he doesn't tame Neytiri or Jake too much, they need to stay as wild as they originally were. Nothing would be worse than such dynamic characters turning out like those movies where they don't even use the original actors or voices. :P

That's what I'm going to do as well, Buy the best DVD version and watch it several times a year, that's what I used to do with LOTR and still do that several times a year.

I'm going to buy it in Bluray. If I find that they casting for extras for the second movie, then I am going to try and make it to the casting. So, I'm going to be practicing Na'vi. I'll practice even there is no casting.

Exactly my fear as well. The one thing that will destroy the Avatar franchise is a bad sequel. I've enjoyed the movie so much, i literally have spent over a DAY sitting in a theater watching this movie. (When you take into account that i've seen avatar 12 times already). The last thing i want is a rushed sequel. Yes, i can't wait to see what comes of Jake and the Omaticaya and what new adventures are planned.

My takes on what may happen:

We humans won't take no for an answer. I'm sure we'll be revisiting Pandora again. With what, i dunno. The military? Another science expedition? The Hells Gate facility is a significant investment, and RDA may not be so willing to abandon it so lightly. I can see the Hells Gate facility becoming overgrown, and maybe even destroyed. We don't know what becomes of the facility at the end of Avatar. As far as we know it's still there. Dormant. If it came down to it, the facility could be used against the humans if it contained sensitive information of any sort. At the least, i think there will be some sort of remnant left of Hells Gate, if just the residential and life support sections to allow those who were permitted to stay on Pandora a place to stay. I can see the Omaticaya finding a new home, possibly a new Hometree. Other trees that large probably do exist throughout pandora. Toruk could be making another appearance, maybe not. Neytiri will probably replace her ikran, as hers was killed during the battle at the Tree of Souls. I think we'll also learn more about other mystic sites throughout Pandora.

I hope to learn about more wildlife, see more sights of pandora and definitely learn more about Na'vi culture and customs.
See that shadow? It's the last one you're gonna see.

Why not send a letter to james cameron tell him the why not 10 person on this commuinty go like extras ???

would be like a dream come true to be on pandora  :)

Eywal ngaru teing oeti

It would a dream come true for hundreds of thousands of people.

Satiro

i've seen that pandora it's just a somekind of moon of an enormous planet, that also have other moons.Maybe we will see a parallel story or pandora will be invaded by her neighbour.Maybe humans will come back with "allies" and na'vi will find other allies. There's a ciclopic quantity of material..
