Spoilers for anyone who hasn't seen the mid-credit scenes.

I was a bit disappointed with Lo'ak speaking English rather than Na'vi to the tulkun. I mean, sure he's going to know English but I would have thought Na'vi would have been his first language? And the one he'd use to communicate with another Pandoran creature? I also just saw a leaked clip from the second mid-credit scene (with the kids swimming), and even the Metkayina were speaking English, which makes even less sense.

Has anyone else seen the third scene (with Tonowari)? If so was there any Na'vi spoken or was it all English?

Honestly, I wasn't expecting otherwise. Given that the story now will have a lot more characters that don't know English at all, the movie probably should be like 90% Na'vi if you go for realism, but that would just not appeal to the most viewers, so I would not expect too much Na'vi in the movie, and definitely not at every single place where it should be if we consider logic.

Mllte oe, yeah it's logical... although I really would be pleased if 90% of movie would be nìNa'vi ;D

I'm wondering if they'll do it like they did with the show Vikings - whenever the scene involves people all speaking the same language, they'd use English. But when it was to be made clear that there was a language barrier between two groups in the same scene one would speak another language with subtitles whilst the other stayed in English.

So maybe when all the characters in a scene are Na'vi, it'll be just English. But if a human or recom is in the scene the Na'vi characters will speak Na'vi to indicate the language barrier?

We saw something like this in the first movie. Based on the popularity of the language in the first movie, I expect that the sequels will be similar.
