kaltxì my lertu..:D
i have a question..there are rumores that James Cameron is wrtinig a REAL AVATAR book..and that it will be much interesting then movie..is it true?

here's a little story i found:

You've seen the movie. Now read the book. James Cameron's next project will be writing a novel based on Avatar.

"There are things you can do in books that you can't do with films" Cameron told The Wall Street Journal at a reception in his honour at the Four Seasons restaurant in New York.

Earlier, Avatar producer Jon Landau had told MTV News that the novel will be a prequel.

"Jim wants to write a novel that is a big epic that fills in a lot of things," said Landau. "It would be something that would lead up to telling the story of the movie but it would go into much more depth: Jake on earth and his backstory, Sigourney (Weaver) teaching at the schoolhouse and Col. Quaritch, how he ended up there."

Jake is the paraplegic U.S. Marine who is sent by Weaver's character to the distant world of Pandora as an avatar of the blue-skinned Navi to infiltrate their community but falls in love with a Navi princess and fights an epic battle with Quaritch.

The novel would include "interior monologues" that flesh out the characters, Cameron said. "I told myself, if it made money, I'd write a book."

Avatar has raked in $667 million (U.S.) in North America and is called the top-earning film of all time, but not everyone is ready to crown Cameron king of the world once again

It's true that JC is seriously considering it but it could still go either way.

They would be idiots not to write a book (or multiple books).  With all the work they've already put into Pandora, they have a chance to do something like the Star Wars EU, but not have it totally suck after the first few books.

I have no doubt, that at least one Avatar based novel will be published.

I hope Jim is at least involved in writing it/them.
I expect a ghost writer will do much of the donkey work, Cameron is a very busy man after all.

I also hope it winds up better than most of the movie novelizations that I have tried to read in the past.
Pasha, an Avatar story, my most recent fanfic, Avatar related, now complete.

The Dragon Affair my last fanfic, non Avatar related.

I've heard that there will be a book, too. Avatar/Pandora has so much possibilities to grow and I see a large community behind The People of the Na'vi and their language. It would be a shame to miss these chances. I also hope that Fox will allow the further development of the Na'vi language.

I cant wait till real book go out in public.

I would love to see a Avatar novel come out, even better would be a series of books. You can do so much more with a book than you can with a movie. The author will have to work very hard to maintain the same high quality as the movie.
