Avatar scale model?

hello readers,

I have a question.
Are there any scale models of Avatar?
I searched in shops and on the internet but i can't find anything.

I do not have any trouble to build something from resin, so thats no problem for me.

Do you have any ideas where i can find something?

Nothing yet. The merchandising for Avatar seems to be off to a pretty slow start. Which seems very odd for a movie that did so well. I'm willing to bet that more items will be coming out soon.

yea, i just want to build things by myself instead buying it in the stores.

i have found a papermodel of the ATT-99 scorpion in a other topic, so thats a beginning with building
maybe i can make with the papermodel some resin scale models?

the only real merchandise is on the www.avataritag.com site.  Pretty epic though for their idea.  Each avatar toy comes with a little badge.  KEEP IT!  If you have a webcam, get the itag program and then it projects a 3d model on the screen depending on which Itag ID you have.  some of them apparently even battle.  look at the demo!

i have great news!
there are real models to buy

i found a AT-99 scorpion Gunship in scale 1/72 from Fantastic Plastic.
it cost 70 dollar( about 52 euro) and its complety in resin.

its very exspensive, but maybe i will buy this one.

Another possibility: Get Avatar game, extract 3D models, use RepRap or MakerBot to 3D-print whatever you like I have access to a RepRap and among the stuff we printed there are also iconic objects from certain games.
