I'm back  :P

I wonder how you would write 'much has changed' or 'a lot has changed'? I'm struggling to figure out which words to even use, let alone infixes for past tense.

Context: the phrase is referring to a person and how much they have changed

Tìlu

Pxaya ayu lolatem perhaps?

And what about:

Pxaya ayuri fko lolatem

(maybe it's unnecessarily complicated translation...)

Emi

What is the difference between using fko and not using it in this case?

Toliman

Pxaya ayu lolatem
Pxaya ayuri fko lolatem

In this case meaning is same. I just used topical (ayu-ri) and general pronoun fko.
Translation by Tìlu is less complicated than mine.

Ma Toliman, oeru txoa livu, but I think your translation doesn't work. latem is vin. and would refer back to fko here imho, so "as for many things, one has changed"...
I guess you wanted to create passive voice here, maybe? That would look like that:
Pxaya 'ut(i) fkol leykolatem. One has caused many thing to change = Many things have been changed.

(since pxaya, many, indicates plural already, one wouldn't need to set 'u into plural, but it's possible of course.)

"Passive voice" uses OSV wordorder with fko as subject. :)

I think Tìlu's translation works just fine tho. ;)

Yeah, passive voice - I wanted create exactly this.

in to more or less agree with what was said.

"Much has changed" isn't really passive voice, because it's not "Much was changed".

IMO, Pxaya 'u lolatem I think is the simplest way to say "Much has changed." (basically what Tìlu said)

For the passive "Much was changed" aka "One has changed many things", then it's Pxaya 'uti fkol leykolatem. (what Eana Unil said)

Well I'm hesitating about fko because things can change on their own without the intervention of an agent.

Hmm ... true. I would say that depends on context...
