Hi, this is pretty difficult to ask of someone to do in their spare time, for something they do as a hobby, but I'm struggling to begin my Na'vi. So far I'm working my way through the Na'vi language on Memrise, but I am having great difficulty beginning to form sentences and understanding case and using all of the words I know in fluid and useful sentences.

I don't need sustained or even very strenuous and involved teaching, but if would be very useful if someone was able to either point me to a list of resources where everything I need to begin Na'vi is contained, because I haven't found a single easy starting document yet, or if they could take some of their own time, which I would be beyond grateful for, to begin and show me a few of the ropes in a few PMs, not even consistent or time-consuming communication, just a few PMs where someone could very kindly outline the basics of case, tense and sentence formation in Na'vi, mainly the manipulation of verbs and formation of sentence, and with whom I could exchange a much needed conduit for practise.

If anybody can point me to any kind of class or resource they feel might aid me in my journey to plltxe nìNa'vi nì'aw, then drop me a PM or any form of communication! Your help will be greatly appreciated!

Kaltxì ma Fyel,

oel ngati kameie!

Great to hear that you want to practice! Well, resources at the moment are a bit out-dated, I'm afraid. I'm sure other people have handy links right away ;)

I still think the best way is a 1:1 teaching via Skype or Team Speak. It's often better to directly ask if you don't understand something than waiting for a reply via mail (other than the advantage that you have something in writing that you can re-read).

I'll PM you ;)

Irayo ma Plumps!

My desire to learn is strong. This language bears strong resemblances phonetically to Chinese, and I couldn't learn that (being English) without help. I am humbled by any offer anyone makes.

Here http://forum.learnnavi.org/project-ngaynume/teamspeak-server-info/ you can find information about Teamspeak, how to install and use it.
Speaking about organized and systematic learning in classes, Ngaynume is currently in "hibernation", but still there are people that regularly connect at the time of lessons, and try to speak. If you connect in Tuesday and Thursday 21:00 CET (which is 20:00 in UK), you'll have a high chance to catch some Na'vi online.
I also recommend you to develop a good habit to jump on Teamspeak everytime when it is possible, in my case this looks like if I am sitting home at my computer and doing anything Na'vi related, I have Teamspeak on the background.

Irayo si ngaru, ma Tanri.

I will try to use this Teamspeak and I have taken Plumps up on his offer and begun communicating via Skype regarding Na'vi. If anyone else wouldn't mind talking to a novice about Na'vi via Skype, drop me a PM regarding it!
