I've been writing my own fanfic for a little while now and I've discovered that by using a writing down a Na'vi word and reading over the sentence without the use of an English-to-Na'vi dictionary, it stuck to my mind. I encourage those who are struggling with remembering a particular Na'vi word and its meaning to write it down in a sentence and read over it. Who knows, it may work wonders for you or a friend. :)

I hope this help out.

I might try this, I'm not much of a writer but it might help to get some of those tricky words to stick in my mind. I've been using my ipods flashcard application to help with my vocab, but there are still some words that just dont stay in mind  :'(
Irayo for the suggestion

I would also suggest trying to translate what people are saying in the "Na'vi ni'aw" section.

Just as I did to learn handwriting, of which I replaced each letter with a handwritten letter. In a similar way, when you learn a new word, use the Na'Vi form instead of the English version. When I have ~25 words memorized, I'm definately doing it!

It kraon. XD!!! (Speak it the Na'vi way)

I like your idea. I support your idea. I am working on something like it that you may enjoy. I will let you know when it is ready for public view.

Okay, so the old podcast is here: https://www.podomatic.com/podcasts/radioavatar It was goofy fun that ended too soon, but we had creative people. I hope we can get a new gang together (interested? PM me, let's make some magic!)
(Very old, outdated) Na'vi FUN activity book is here: But what are you doing? Let me know! :)

This is the simplest rule to memorize a word. Irayo anyway.
I can't see you from here!

Your idea is really sweet for people who really don't have much access to a computer or an Ipod just like what Tsyal'an said. Even i am not much of a writer but it is really useful for readers who want to memorise on what they have written themselves. I use the activities here to memorise my vocab but still, your idea is real simple and effective. I may use this idea to memorise my words also.

Yes. You speak truth. This is the "brute force" memorization I am including in the next update of the activity book. But also you have word usage and word comprehension. these come from including it in puzzles, sentences, art; various ways to trick the mind to seeing the word in different mental states, like a swift opponent would attack a slower one from many sides.

The best anyone can do with this idea is to memorize how a word is spelled and it's meaning. I'll see what I can do about grammar and pronunciation.
