Oeyä Nantang

Hi guys I've come up with a new sentence and I think I've got it right for the most part!, Oel tayaron Yerrikit fa oeyä tsko. Or in English; I hunt hexpede with my bow. I have also been wondering about when I should start using the intermediate subforum? I`m on chapter 5 of NIAN and I`m exctited to continue today!

Taronyu

That sounds good. It's future tense, you know.

Sure, use the intermediate forum. I'd use that more for larger translations, though - and it seems you've mastered the one sentence stage. :)

Payä Tìrol

The sentence currently says "will hunt", and Hexapede should be yerikit, otherwise looks fine.
Oeyä atanìl mì sìvawm, mipa tìreyä tìsìlpeyur yat terìng

Oeyä Nantang

I meant for it to be future tense, I forgot to put into the same tense in my english translation though. Irayo!  :D

When you understand the stuff in Intermediate, then you're ready.

Taronyu

Also, when you make a clean kill...  ::)

Have you thought of changing your name, btw? Oe-ya actually means something different from Oe-yä; it's not just a spelling error but a different, non-sensical meaning.

Lmfao to the reference, But yes I do want to change my name seeing now that its incorrect. How do I do this? New account?, or is there  a way to change your account name?

Tsamsiyu92

Your username will stay the same, but the screen name (the one other sees) is changeable.

Key'ìl Nekxetse

Profile->Modify profile/Account settings from the menu thing at the top of the screen.
Key'ìl Nekxetse on "The Revolutionists"
~$ life --help
The program life received signal SIGSEV. Core dumped.

Tsamsiyu92

Just add a tì- to that hangham and your new screename is correct.

Taronyu

Aw...I liked Oeyä Palulukan. It was short and memorable. :)

Oeyä Nantang

I think I might just change it to Oeyä Nantang, I`m pretty sure a pack of Viperwolves could tactically take down a Thanator or two...

I would not "change" to intermediate, so that you use the intermediate only and not the beginner forum anymore. I'm currently using both and started with using both three days after starting to learn. So, everything you understand, you can reply to and the only difference is in which forum you post which question of yours. So, if you're in chapter 5 in NiaN you'll maybe come up with some more advanced questions. I always orientated on the topics mostly discussed in which subforum. So whole and complex sentences are of course in the intermediate forum but vocab questions may be better in the Beginners section.

Don't think too much about such things, just stay and act in the section of the forum you feel comfortable acting in. ;)

The difference between the two is very subjective. If you can understand the dialogue in Na'vi-ni'aw (I only can with pretty liberal use of the dictionary, still >_>), there's no reason not to start trying there. Just a heads up that the corrections and explanations people give will be in Na'vi as well.

:D  Yeah that's right. I can also understand the Na'vi ni'aw section by using the dictionary quite often, only. ;D
Yes, the difference of course is very subjective (Was only telling about my opinion on it). That's why I suggested to act in the section one feels comfortable in. ;D

That why I wish tree was a practice thread in the intermediate section so I could practice na'vi sentences without making 100 "is this right" threads, just na'vi practice conversations and corrections in English  until your ready for na'vi ni'aw

It's a good idea, why don't you go ahead and create the thread in the sentences sub-forum?
We learn from our mistakes only if we are made aware of them.
If I make a mistake, please bring it to my attention for karma.

Yeah, it's a great idea. Did you already do? Please let me know when you do, will you? You can just post a link in here. :D
