It's been a while, but, how should I say "I made tea"?

I got 'Oel teait ngop' am I anywhere close?
That's pretty good. :)

Although at face value it suggests that you created tea. Would prepare be a better verb than create/make in this case?
Oel teati hawl?
Yeah, hawl is good word here :)
I just see that sentence was "I made tea" - isn't then "Oel teati holawl" better?

archaic

EEK how did I miss this? I need to make an edit.

Don't worry, your translation was basically right :)

Txantsan:)
Yeah, your translation was right but hawl is a bit better verb for your sentence

archaic

I have a question, do we have a word for the Na'vi burial/funeral?   ???  :-\

Okay

I wondered about it more, maybe it would be literally expresed as yem nemfa kllte = put into ground, but idk...

Tirea Aean

One can probably think of a funeral / burial (if I understand the context correctly) as a Ceremony/Ritual of Death?

Sä'eoio Kxitxä, perhaps.

Where kxitx refers to the event of an individual's death

That is very good idea, seems be better that mine.

We also have verb kllyem = to bury... it could be used here too (I buried someone = Oel kllyolem tuteoti), at least I hope

What about tìkllyusem as word for burial?

What about tìkllyusem as word for burial?

That would work nicely in a literal sense as well

Toliman

Txantsan!

Anyway I like your idea (Sä'eoio Kxitxä).

archaic

OK, on a very different note, any idea what the Na'vi might call call a dealer? (dealer, as in a poker game)

Best I could manage was "kìte'eyu", which I felt might be a bit of a stretch.

Seems that I have not better idea than "kìte'eyu" too :-\

archaic

I'm going to pencil in kìte'eyu, at least until/unless we come up with something better.

Okay, good luck with writing!

Wondered about it more but I still have not better idea.
