Avatar movie dialogues

Hello,

Does anybody know where to get the movie dialogues? I want to see what Tsu'tey says to Jake while he is fighting the Ikran to make the bond. It is something like "Do not fear warrior" or something, but I want the actual Na'avi translation.

So this is more of a mocking phrase rather than a motivational one? Or is it just the tone Tsu'tey uses?

How are the middle words spelled?

You've spelt it correctly.

It seems to me, that Tsu'tey is taunting Jake, reminding him to be tsamsiyu and then implying that Jake is afraid. Combined with his tone of voice, I think it's clear that he's trying to assert his superiority over Jake, particularly as Neytiri is present there at the time (and before she arrives, Tsu'tey doesn't treat Jake any differently IIRC).

He spelt it without an l, he was just using letawtutea punctuation conventions of marking exclamations.

He just got confused because your exclamation mark looked like an "l" on his phone screen - don't worry about it

Just wanted to add the other thing Tsu'tey says to Jake during that scene (or, really, it looks like he's saying it to the other two novice hunters) is "Tsakem rä'ä si"—"Don't do that."

Speaking of which, when Tsu'tey says, "Txopu rä'ä si, tsamsiyu," to Jake, why doesn't he use the vocative?

Good point in using it. After all, given such freedom with word order, you wouldn't want a literal translation to be something like, "Have no warrior, fear." Seems to be another language inconsistencey throughout the movie.

I think si always comes after the noun (though of course you can put words like rä'ä between), so there is no ambiguity there.

Tsu'tey's tsakem rä'ä si sounds pretty good to me.

Also, with the tsamsiyu, I think it's either him just dropping the vocative or reminding Jake to be like a warrior by planting "warrior" in his head.

Yeah, i had to listen to it a few times. I think the issue is rä'ä is getting shortened to *rä, and i think the "p" you're hearing comes from the actor trying to flip his "r" right after the "m". Just my 2¢.

Just noticed that that site claims that during the attack on kelutral, when Ney'tiri wants to stay with Eytukan and help out, he says "Ke ke KE! - No no NO!" when it should be "Kä kä KÄ! - Go go GO!" Think anyone could change that (unless I'm totally off ofc).

Does anyone have any transcripts of the deleted scenes? I'm really bad at hearing what they say in na'vi unless I know what they're supposed to say. For example when Trudy shows them how to bring down a samson and Jake translate her explanation into ******* fìtseng.

I heard Eytukan's line as a blend between kehe and kä. The first couple of words sounded bisyllabic....

There should be a thread of guesses somewhere...

As for the line you were thinking of, perhaps Jake realized that the terminology that Trudy was using was too technical to translate into Na'vi, and so simplified it into takuk fìtseng.
