How do you say' I have fruit'?

lu oeru <we are missing the word for fruit. still. ::)>

We really need the word for fruit. We have a submission in the LEP called txusi which if passed would become the Na'vi word for fruit.
Sometimes we use fkxen -although it is vegetable. Maybe you can try fkxen akalin (sweet vegetable). No nitpicking please :)

Sure fkxen might be sufficient for now. But I very seriously believe that there is a separate word for fruit. They know the difference between 5 types of waterfalls. Surely the Na'vi distinguish between fruit and vegetable even if it does not match the Human scientific definition. I won't nitpick until we get the word for fruit. I'd just watch out memorising fkxen as fruit... It might come back later to haunt you as a bad habit.

Irtaviš Ačankif

Hmm. English influence? Fruit and vegetables are all edible outgrowths of plants and are essentially an arbitrary distinction in English (say, tomatoes are called "vegetables" even though they are fruits by the *biological* definition)
Previously Ithisa Kīranem, Uniltìrantokx te Skxawng.

Name from my Sakaš conlang, from Sakasul Ältäbisäl Acarankïp

"First name" is Ačankif, not Eltabiš! In Na'vi, Atsankip.

Actually, come to think of it, I think something like this might have come up at a meetup a few years ago. I think that the word fkxen means food derived from plants, and vey is food derived from animals. Very vague.

Shouldn't 'ay' be included under 1.1 in Na'vi in a Nutshell? If not, why?
Varför minns jag alla dåliga vitsar, men glömmer alla infix i Na'vi?? ???
Why do I remember all bad jokes, but forget all the infixes in Na'vi?? :-[

Really, if you go to http://learnnavi.org/media/ and get Nian there (version 2.8), diphthongs are correct. Nian is quite old, but seems that some guys are working on update.

Here you can see.. It's from NiaN 2.8 under 1.1
Tip: Think of ay, ew, ey, ll, and rr as single entities even though they are composed with two letters.
As you can see the diphtong 'aw' is not mentioned..  ;) Eywa ayngahu

Well, I see what you mean - it is missing in the tip, but in the table above it is mentioned. You can report this mistake in Nian thread - maybe new maintainers will be able to fix it.

It's already been mentioned and added to the list of coming edits.
