For the oengat example (In addition to pxoeng and ayoeng) the word is a combination of "oe" and "nga".  When used alone the "a" at the end is dropped, but when used with a case, it keeps the "a" from "nga" and gets the vowel final form of the case.
Ftxey lu nga tokx ftxey lu nga tirea? Lu oe tìkeftxo.
