Kem seri _____ a oeru sunu

--- End quote ---
We need to use a noun when we talk about an action. Unlike in English, you cannot take a verb as a subject (or even an object). To solve the problem, we use fwa (or futa if it's the direct object).

--- End quote ---

This.^

To put it another way, It's because You can say "I like food" as "oeru sunu syuve."  But you can't say in Na'vi "I like to eat food" without saying "oeru sunu fwa yom syuvet".

--- Quote ---Doesn't this mean more like "I like that (a condition or action exists).
--- End quote ---

That would also include me and my action existing.

Nice stuff, ma frapo! Adding.  Anyone got any more? I'll have to think of some more too...
