Okok, so it's Eywatìnokx te Pa'lieykyu Torota'ite. Thanks! :D

Srane, looks good to me. :)  Nìprrte'

Hey, I've got one more question: is "Oe tìyawn ngenga nìftxavang, Eywatìnokx te Pa'lieykyu Torota'ite." gramatically correct? It's the way to say "I love you" according to this.

Tìlu

I love you should be nga yawne lu oeru. So it should be "Nga yawne lu oeru, ma Eywatìnokx te Pa'lieykyu Torota'ite". :)

The website is totally.... wrong. The person who made the article didn't notice that tìyawn is a noun. Anyway, the translation is too literal.

The verb to love doesn't exist in Na'vi. We commonly say ''Nga lu yawne oer'', which literally means ''You are beloved to me''. I allow myself to suggest to you ''Oel ngati kameie nìftxavang'', which means ''I See you passionately''.

The other thing is the vocative. When we address someone directly, we use the vocative marker ma.

The right sentence would be Nga lu yawne oer, ma Eywatìnokx te Pa'lieykyu Torota'ite.

[...] according to this.

Yah, I think the author of that used navilater.com at some point.

And so,

^These :)

Thanks again! The Elvish (Sindarin) version is also incorrect there (correct is "Gin melon"). So this site is pretty random but it's the first google hit when you search for "I love you in Navi"

Education ;) I'm not saying he's stupid, but sometimes the people have to search more.

Yeah, that article author didn't seem to have searched very much before just posting the output of navilator (thank Eywa that crazy thing doesn't work anymore)

I actually mean the public, but it can also apply to the author.

Also very true for general public, I guess.

So, this thread is done for now?

Probably. We're going off-topic.

Yes, it is I'd say it is. I can post the final result of the gift if someone's interested. Today I worked on transcripting two Elvish versions into the Tangwar script and yesterday I transcripted a poem in Valyrian, a good person translated for me, into Elder Fuþark runes so it's gonna be really awesome when it's ready :D
