Ok.  I seem to remember there was a thread about holiday greetings and I can't seem to find it now.

So the big question ... How would one say Happy Holidays in Na'vi?

I've translated something that looks really stupid but says "I wish you a day of special joy."  Not exactly Happy Holidays but it fit the bill for what I was looking for at the moment.

    Happy Holidays to You All!

I think that Ayftozä should have been Ayftxozä (thus the [sic]).   :)

It means "thus" in Latin.  It means the editor thinks something is wrong (a spelling error, say) but doesn't want to mess with the original being quoted.

Sic is used when you are quoting something verbatim, and there is a typo in the original text, and you want to show that it was not you who created the typo.

I love that! I will definitely be using this :) I was going to post a thread about this as I have also been wondering how we would say "happy holidays"

I think the thread you are looking for is here.http://forum.learnnavi.org/vocab-phrases/holiday-greeting/ There is also a further discussion on the 'Aystengyerem ayoeng olo`, and oisss if I can find it! Although you don't need this for your greeting, the conclusion was it should be awngari `aystengyerem olo`it (or awngari olo`it `aystengyerem).
