Do we have any hints on how long the Na'vi year lasts, and how long a day is?

Hmm, I tried to answer this question by treating Pandora as a satellite of the Centauri Star System but unfortunately, no satellites have yet been discovered (not to my knowledge anyway). If Pandora is roughly the same size as earth and has relitavely the same climate, this would suggest that it may be the same distance from Alpha Centauri as Earth is from our Sun. This would only occur if Alpha Centauri has the same surface temperature as our Sun. Unless Polyphemus has an irregular orbit, which would therefore interrupt the orbit of Pandora, I'd say that a Pandoran year may be close to an Earth year.

Taronyu is the man to ask this question; he's given the astronomy of Avatar a lot of thought.
