Hiya!  After seeing Avatar I became so deeply interested with the Na'vi that I decided I wanted to learn the language.  I'm throwing myself out there.  I want to embrace the teachings you all can give me.  Help Please! :)

Stick around, there's plenty to learn here.

Also check out Na'vi in a Nutshell and Taronyu's dictionary to get a start on learning the language.

"Peace on Earth" was all it said.

There's also another thread devoted to the dictionary in the intermediate section.  There you will find links to English-Na'vi dictionaries sorted out by English words for convenience.

Kaltxì,

I am also currently trying to learn the language, I can pronounce everything except the rolled "rr".
I can speak only short phrases, but I can say full sentences, if I'm reading it off of a paper or my computer.   :-X

I have been studying it for 3 months now, not quite Na'vi nì'aw level yet, but close.

Apply it everywhere you can. Label thing in Na`vi. Name things in Na`vi. Build a set of stock pharses to say to your self. Build a set of stock phrases to say to others. Talk to your pets (neither my cats or the lions listen  :o ) Attend Na`vi meetups, if you can. Check out 'Na`vi of the week #10, Omämgum Frauti's  ideas for learning in his NoTW intro post. Write. Read. Let others mercilessly butcher your sentences until you get them write. Memorize Na`vi texts and work on getting the pronunciation exactly right. But above all, have fun!
