True. And it's less easy to procrastinate. Though easier to get distracted.

Ekirä

But if there was homework due the next day, you would be forced to learn not procrastinate too long. I really wouldn't mind doing Na'vi homework.... ;D

Just imagine--a Na'vi school for sawtute. You learn archery, how to walk silently through the forest, the Na'vi language, horseback riding, weaving, art.....the possibilities are endless! :D

That's what I use. It's so simple! But sometimes I wish I could be taught, like in a classroom.

Why don't you use Project Ngaynume, then? Or, well, do you? :D

I've been passively lurking on these forums for quite a while, and I have printed out Na'vi in a Nutshell (which is anawesome resource) and I read the odd page off occasionally, so I can string together a few very basic sentences, but I find it really hard to make time to sit down and really try to learn it.

I'm really excited about the re-realease of Avatar, and hopefully that will get me to push me a little harder to get learning.

Niwantaw

I've managed to lurk for nearly half a year and I still can't say much...
I can say a little... just.
Only mostly AWOL.

All that I can say is that you should try and find one person who is willing ot learn it with you in real life.  If they don't do it voluntarily, just start speaking na'vi around the person you really want to do it with.  they will turn over to the darkside.  cause if they start learning it, you can make fun of each other together, its quite funny.

I've gotten several friends to come over to the darkside.
Also a member of the podcast known as Avatar Nation.  Come listen to our stuff! like us on facebook and chech out our blog at Avatar-Nation.net.

There is a class called Project NgayNume (PNgN)that will most likely be reopening/restarting and whatnot after the re-release to accommodate new students. This is a GREAT project to join if you want to learn the language :) Classes are all over the world divided by time zone, each with its own Karyuä Srungsiyu (Teacher Helper). I am one of the GMT -8 zone KSs. Some zones are combined into one group. There are weekly lessons that meet on Teamspeak. There is no direct translation, only association with pictures. This class has taught me nearly everything I know. If you or anyone else is interested, check it out here http://forum.learnnavi.org/project-ngaynume/

Ftivang rä'ä tìnusume! Do not stop learning! I have felt that I will never learn the language too when I got into advanced subjects, but then I just kept meeting with my teacher (Tirea Aean, also the leader of PNgN) and practicing my sentences (learning from correction) and attending PNgN classes (learning by immersion and association) ulte oeru tivìng nari set. Oe tsun pivlltxe nìftue. Nìngay ke lu ngäzik nivume lì'fya leNa'vi. Nga zene tskxekeng sivi nìlkeftang ulte tsayun nga pivlltxe nìftue nìteng. Oel fitsenget teiok srung sivi. Aynga tsun oeru pivawm txo ayngal 'uot ke tslivam.
(and look at me now. I can speak easily. It truly isn't hard to learn the Na'vi language. You must practice continuously and you will be able to speak easily as well :) I am here to help. You all can ask me if you don't understand something.)
