If someone would be so kind as to help me translate this into Na'vi
I would be eternally grateful for your help!

God, grant me the strength and serenity to accept the things I cannot change,

....the courage to change the things I can,

and the wisdom, to know the difference...

I would like to use Eywa in place of "God" :D

That is a great quote :) unfortunately a bit tricky to translate. We have "mawey" for "calm" but it is an adjective not a noun. We could use the tì- prefix but I don't know that that would be possible because tì can't be freely used on any word you want and "tìmawey" isn't already in the dictionary. Same story with "wisdom." We have "txantslusam" for "wise" but it is also an adjective. There isn't word for "courage but i can probably find a way around that. Also we don't have a word for "accept." We could possibly use "lonu" for "release/let go of" or "tung" for "allow." Before I go further, let me know what you think of using "lonu" or "tung"

I think Lonu would work great :D
You said tì can be used on any word freely,..tìmawey. Does this mean to be calm?

No, tì CAN'T be used on any word freely.

Think of it as like adding -ness to the end of a word in English - sometimes it works (calm --> calmness), and sometimes it makes a word that, although understandable, isn't actually a word (wise --> wiseness).

Understood! Irayo ma Muzer.
I have a question then.
In my name...Tìtxur means: Strong/Powerful.
In this instance can you use Tì for this word?

NotW#82

Muzer

Yes, it's in the dictionary:
tìtxur: [tI."t'uR] P F n. strength, power (derived from txur strong)
[21:42:56] <@Muzer> Apple products used to be good, if expensive
[21:42:59] <@Muzer> now they are just expensive

All the words that tì- can be used on are in the dictonary :)

Well, I would do it something like this:
Ma Eywa, rutxe oeru tivìng tìtxurit sì tìmawey fte livonu ayuti a ke tsun livatem,
Oeti tivung livu luke txopu fte livatem ayuri a tsun livatem,
Ulte oeru tivìng tìtxantslusamit fte tìketengit ivomum.

It's a bit rocky IMO plus it uses some illegal words (tìmawey and tìtxantslislusam) but I can't think of a way around thAt. If anyone can, please do!

Is there a way to refine it? Or is this as good as it gets?
Im gonna spend some time translating it myself.

Irayo nimun!
