Hi all.

I've only just started learning in the past four days and I've just started doing N'avatar's work sheets, but I've found I'm having a little difficulty. I'm onto the Verbs and I'm having trouble remembering the meanings of the words. When I'm not learning and I'm at work or something similar a word will float into my head and I'll know it's an actual word but I won't be able to remember what it's meaning is in English.
What are your solutions to memorising translations? I'm a Learning By Doing person and so I've tried writing down the word with translation twenty times then repeating it vocally but that hasn't helped.
Any help from you all would be most appreciated.
Rrakxran.

Don't try to memorise the words, just try writing some sentences with the dictionary open. Try to use it as little as possible but don't spend hours trying to find a word. Eventually you should find that you don't need to look up words as often.

That's the way I've been doing it, it's all in the repetition, you've just got to stick with it even if the results aren't obvious.

Thanks Kawng Mungeyu, I've tried this and it helps.

I've also made up flashcards which has helped immensly. I'm still working on the fitting words to sentences but my vocabulary is coming along really well.

You are very right, Tskxekeng susil ngat txan siltsan seri, Practice does make perfect.
