I've been around here for a while and I still haven't learned a thing. Can anyone tell me what to do first? Remember the words?  ???

Get the Pocket Guide from the main LearnNavi.org site, and then Taronyu's dictionary.  Read through it, ask questions.  That's pretty much all you need.  If it's your first time learning the language, grab this too.
Peu sa'nokyä ayoengyä?  Pefya ayoeng poeru kìte'e sayi?
Pefya ayoengìl poeti hayawnu, na poel ayoengit hawnu?

What of our mother?  How shall we serve her?  How shall we protect her as she protects us?

Don't worry that there's so much to read :) I would suggest you start at the pocket guide and read the first 10 pages through (untill you hit lexicon), then start play with it and start write a few sentences, letting people correct you. It's a good and fun way to learn.
A big thankyou to DrBinder for creating my forum avatar :)
