I was thinking about changing my name too.

On most forums I use Wishmaster (from a Nighwish album), but since there was no word for wish (or at least I couldn't find one) I had to come up with a new name.
Now we do have a word for wish so I've come up with Rangkaryu, from rangal and karyu, since teacher is the closest thing to master I could find.

eyktan = leader which is closer to master than teacher.

so you could go for sìrangalä eyktan

That only depends on the context in which you are using the word master. If you think of Jedi knights for instance, their use of master seems closer to teacher than to leader.

The way Nightwish uses Wishmaster is similar to the meaning of Jedi master. In the horror movie, it would indeed be sìrangalä eyktan.

First I had a name in my mother tongue, which is my nickname Stachel (how my friends and my family calls me) but then I looked up what it was in Na'vi: Sngap. Then I added a fitting adjective and now it sounds good I think.

Unfortunately no, the closest is flä so you could go for tsamflätue.

You could do, but the name comes from the Roman goddess Victory (equivalent to the Greek goddes Nike) who is associated specifically with success in war.

So, it depends on how strictly etymological a translation you want ma ting.

OK people, I has a question. This is in regards to the dragons that most of you have noticed have been appearing in my sig nowadays. The two that you can see are yet unnamed, and since my thread about naming them in the Spam section has died, I figured I'd ask here, since this gets more regular traffic.

Now, the names I am looking for are translations for the word guardian and stone warrior.

I am aware that the word for guard is hawnu. Now this is where i loose my handle on the language. Would guardian, be hawnuyu which I take to literally mean guarder or would it be hawnusiyu which I believe is correct.

hawnu is a verb already, so no need for "si". "Tìhawnu si" is from the movie and I don't believe we yet know the difference between the two forms.

I'd personally just use "hawnuyu" for "protector".

That'd be Hawnuyu. Hawnusiyu is incorrect, because the si is redundant since hawnu is already a verb.
Stone warrior would be Tskxetsamsiyu. I'm compounding that, because that's how I imagine proper nouns work in Na'vi. See uniltìranyu, for example. I may or may not be right on this.

OK, so I know its Hawnuyu for "Protector". That particular species of dragon are called Guardian Dragons, so it fits either way.

I'm gonna wait for a definate answer on stone warrior only because compounding may complicate things. The example I can think of where alot of stuff changes when combined is silronsem meaning clever being a compound of siltsan(good) and ronsem(mind), so I think I might wait on stone warrior, till i get a definate answer.

tskxetsamsiyu looks good.

If you want to play it safe you could go for letskxea tsamsiyu or tsamsiyu letskxe which both mean stony-warrior or as a third option tskxeyä tsamsiyu or tsamsiyu tskxeyä (warrior of stone), personally, I'd go for the compound (tskxetsamsiyu).
