I agree.  You have a great profile picture.  Did you do this in photoshop or did you actually paint your face.  I am sure that it was not fun to wash the paint off.  I'd bet your wife did not like cleaning the shower after this.

Irayo!

correct?

if you are thanking for something, but responses to compliments...

probably more likely:

  • Tstunwi (kind)
  • Ke pxan (not worthy)

and if a time comes where someone complements you on something that you feel they are better than you at:
  • ngaru tsulfä (to you mastery <you're the master>)

precisely. as yet another tool to make Na'vi different, new and exciting and unlike English, Frommer has decided that there be NO VERB for to love, but rather the structure be that ____ yawne lu ___-ru. its just like to have. to make it different and exciting, we have to say lu __-ru ____.

I love all these thigs that separate na'vi from English and any earth language i know of. I love that there are not direct translations of somethings because of grammar differences. its wonderful and not boring.

How boring would it be if the grammar and such were the same as english? we would just have English all over again, with different words. O.O

That would be horrid.... :P Na'vi makes so much more sense than wishy-washy English. XD

Ikran Ahiyìk

This way of expression makes Na'vi special and more easy to remember..

And it would not be a great work anymore if more rules are same as a single other language.
