how do you turn give into giving.
In my heart there is a fire,
of burning rage and love's desire.

Depends on what kind of "giving" you are thinking of...

If you are thinking of it in a sentence such as "that tree is giving messages," then you use the <er> infix: tsa-utral t<er>ìng ay+upxare

If you are thinking of it in a sentence as an adjective such as "the giving tree" then you use the <us> infix: utral a-t<us>ìng

Finally, if you are thinking of it in a sentence as a noun such as "that tree's giving is good," then you use the <us> infix combined with the tì- prefix (a.k.a. gerund): tsa-utral-ä tì-t<us>ìng lu sìltsan

Hope you understand :)

Actually, as of the Workshop, it is forbidden to use arguments to gerunds.  You can just say "giving is good":

  tìtusìng lu sìltsan

But once you want a subject or object for the "giving", you have to turn it into a a fì'u clause:

  utralìl tìng a fì'u lu sìltsan

not one hundred percent sure, but I think you add a prefix of sorts depending on how many you mean. like two would be mo- and many ay-. like I said, I;m not 100% sure, but there seems like a pattern of this.

Almost.

If you have two of something you use the prefix me+, if you have three you use pxe+ and if you have more you use ay+.

What the plus means is that you also may have to lenit the consonant following it. Only the consonants px, p, tx, t, ts, kx, k, and ' lenit so you can ignore lenition if the word starts with any other letter. When you do lenit, follow this table one step to the right:

px -> p -> f
tx ->  t -> s
         ts -> s
kx -> k -> h
         ' -> nothing, it disappears (e.g. 'eveng -> ay+'eveng -> ayeveng)

If you do  lenit the first consonant of the noun, ay+ can be dropped (although me+ and pxe+ would still have to be stated) e.g. brothers = smukan and aysmukan.

(we assume the "+" means there is lenition (as kewnya said) and "-" means there is not, all the prefixes for number are with "+")
