Yeah I'm going to agree with that.  Saying "tìhawnu fpe'" is saying that protection is sending something.

But ayuniltìrantokxur is wrong, because it's not what is being protected...  Also dream walkers would be uniltìranyu.  I'd probably say it something like...

Eywa-l tìhawnu-ti fp<er>e' uniltiranyu-ta

You could also say "Nawma sa'nok" for great mother as well.

But it's still not sending, just send , so you don't need the <er> to fpe', i think...
For the uniltìrantoky/uniltìranyu... it's too early here for seeing these kind of things (at least for me)...

I was going off the original "sends".  er doesn't necessarily mean it's happening right now, it could mean that it's just in general something that she does...

If it's more of a request, it would be fpive'

Yeah, you're right I gave the singular.

The English -ing does act like imperfective in some cases but not necessarily all.  The imperfective is an ongoing, habitual, or incomplete action, or one which is viewed with internal structure, not all of those would necessarily be seen as -ing in English.  My assumption here was that it was a statement about something that Eywa does, thus a habitual or ongoing action.  Also, lacking context to say otherwise, a verb left uninflected like that can potentially be seen as a request or command rather than a statement.
