I thought I got the pronounciations down fairly good from the na'vi alphabet thing here (except the links for tx,px and kx never work) but now I'm down to square zero because apparently I still didn't get any of them right.  everything has all these wierd ways to say them and I've see two completely different ways to pronounce tx/px/kx and don't know which is right.
Is there a more detailed guide I can find to get it right, I feel like giving up on the whole thing Since I'm not a linguistic expert that knows what unaspirated, ejectives, affricates and all those other things are

http://forum.learnnavi.org/audio/navi-pronunciation-guides/ (Some of Ftiafpi's vowels were a bit off when he made those though)
and
http://forum.learnnavi.org/learning-resources/navi-lesson-mp3s/ (As far as I know the pronunciation lesson gives all the right sounds, and the other lessons are probably 99% there with pronunciation.)

There have been people whose enthusiasm has outpaced their knowledge and experience.  Not a lot of people are to the point of doing things accurately, and there are, unfortunately, many lessons which are wrong.  Some of my earlier stuff I know was a bit wrong, but hopefully the lesson podcast covers everything correctly now.  The pronunciation lesson covers all the Na'vi sounds.

In order to get the right pronunciation, I suggested our TA in NgayNume to make us repeat the words after her, and correct us if necessary. Just like in a real face to face language class. Like Neytiri taught Jake, but without the slap!

that's what I need just to make sure I got it right. I think I got the r right but I'm not sure.  It seems like a English r except instead of leaving a gap between my tounge and the roof of my mouth I keep going and touch it with my tounge I'll try the 2nd link with the mp3s and see if that helps.

If you find a yotube video on Spanish rs you should be able to check. Na'vi rs work almost identically to Spanish rs (a single r is flapped, a double is trilled) except that in Spanish word-initial single rs are rolled. Because they are so similar the many videos explaining Spanish rs to people on youtube are very helpful to us.

Irayo I'll try that. I wish I learned to do r's in Spanish when I was in school, at least now I'll have it right for na'vi and Spanish. :D
