I've been looking up and down the dictionaries (the latest versions) and I can't find what sa'atenuk means. It's referenced in Sa'nok, but I can't actually FIND the word.... Could it mean grandmother? Is there such a word in Na'vi yet?

Irayo.

I think it's just a more formal way of saying it...

Ok, found it. It's in the 2007 Avatar Screenplay, one of Grace's lines.
Oeyä atanìl mì sìvawm, mipa tìreyä tìsìlpeyur yat terìng

I think it's Cameron's original word for Mother, and Frommer changed it to sa'nok. From the 2007 script:

Tängal

If you will check Taronyu's dictionary you will find:
Quote from: dictionarysa'nok: ["saP.nok^] PF n. mother (from
sa'atenuk C)
So Cameron created "sa'atenuk", but Formmer changed it to Sa'nok as Ekirä said ;)
